Trey Stultz from Lutz Plumbing was hired to tackle my clogged kitchen/laundry room pipes after I put some Clear Water Gel Jelly Beads from a vase of flowers down the drain. (Yeah, I shouldn't have done that.) Those pretty beads turned ugly quickly, still expanding when in the pipes and forming a thick and unmovable clog.

He kept in mind the cost, especially if he couldn't get it cleared with the auger and the floor would need to be jackhammered. He repeatedly worked the snake, tried a few tricks, then went back to the shop to get a water jetter to clear the jelly mass from hell.

I truly appreciate the efforts of Lutz to keep my repair as low-cost as possible, and that Trey didn't give up. Then he even thoroughly cleaned the walls and floor when finished.

We had a faucet that had a significant leak on a Sunday afternoon. Many companies could not get to us until Monday. We called Lutz Plumbing and had a plumber at our home within the hour. Discovered water in our basement due to sump pump malfunction after 11:00 pm. Their on-call plumber came out and fixed the major problem we had right away. Huge relief!! Because we are signed up for their preferred customer program, an after hour, holiday weekend call was only $89. So glad we are long-time customers of Lutz Plumbing!!! Our water heater went out on a Friday night, or at least that's when we figured it out. On my mother's referral we called Lutz on Saturday and they told us all of their employees had a funeral to attend but someone could come out after 2. Totally understandable. Trey still showed up before any other company even called me back. He went out of his way to find us a tankless unit on a Saturday night, and got the whole thing done the next day. By the end of the ordeal he was part of the family and my kids would find excuses to come up to him and show him their toys. Absolutely dependable and reasonably priced. Lutz will be my new go-to plumbing company.

Refused to honor a $25.00 coupon that is on their website. I noticed the coupon later in the day after the morning appointment. I chatted with customer service on their site and requested to use the coupon. Later I received a call stating that they would not honor the coupon because I did not present it at time of service. I didn't know about the coupon at time of service. Not happy and will not use them again.

I will say they did a good job with the fix and the plumber was pleasant. That's why they get two stars. Otherwise it would be lower.

Brent really bailed me out of a jam last Friday afternoon. After several attempts to remove a stuck shower valve, I finally gave up and called Lutz. It was not an easy task but Brent really worked hard to get it done right. Thanks!

Lutz Plumbing visited our house in September after we woke up to a watery garage floor. They fixed the toilet that was the culprit, and then ""fixed"" a second toilet that was running (but not the cause of the leak).

Fast forward to today, when lo and behold, we have a new leak in our garage that was caused by the second toilet. Lutz quoted $700 to *replace* the toilet (and quoted a replacement toilet that a quick Google search can see retails for under $200) that was supposed to have been fixed less than 6 months ago. Coincidence?
