I hired Chris Ludwig to install a water heater in my home and was given both a unit and a labor warranty. Within 30 days, the heater started failing to produce hot water. He came back to troubleshoot, called the manufacturer, turned up the temperature, said it was working fine, and left. Over subsequent months, the heater continued to fail. My building plumber determined the unit was failing and had evidence of scorching on the bottom element. I contacted Chris that day and he agreed to swap out the heater. Over the next 3.5 weeks, Chris repeatedly maintained he would fix it, but he took no action and the heater got worse. Rather than managing the heater replacement himself, he asked me to make phone calls to his plumbing distributor and the manufacturer to somehow get a new heater. This took hours of my time (away from work) and neither of the companies would respond to me. Additionally, he refused to send a subcontractor despite my asking, and recommended that I contact another plumber; so I called back the building plumber. They determined the heater was a fire hazard, disconnected it and replaced it. During this process, I was charged twice for the labor and the unit. As of today, I have been reimbursed only for the replacement unit, not the additional labor cost. I requested that Chris split the cost of the new plumber's labor fees as a good faith effort for the labor warranty I had with him. I received no response to that attempt at compromise. I do NOT recommend his services going forward given his considerable absence and overall unresponsiveness.

Very unresponsive, always too busy on bigger jobs. Chris left me w the broken hot water tank even though it was part of the replacement cost. Would definitely not recommend.

I was driving, 11/12/2022 just before 3pm near Algonquin on Route 31 heading north, when one of their trucks was tailgating and then cut into the left Lane within a foot or two of my bumper. I was going 5 mph over the limit, but I guess that wasn't good enough. When they changed lanes, I was surprised they did not take a piece of my bumper. They were traveling probably 15 to 20 mph over the limit . I have it on dash cam although I only have it on the front so you can only see him pulling away. It is quite scary to have an idiot like that so close to my bumper. Whoever was driving deserves to be reprimanded. I don't know about their plumbing, but their driving sure sucks!

We had to bother Chris at 830 on a Friday night when we were panicked because the handle had completely broken off from our tub. There was water shooting out of where the cartridge connected to the pipes and we were concerned we were create a bigger problem fixing it ourselves. He was awesome and came out bright and early in the AM to fit us into his already crazy day and we couldn't be more grateful. After 30 mins he had everything changed out and the new handle installed. It's awesome to have someone reliable and professional so close by. Will definitely be using his services in the future and would recommend him to anyone!! Thanks again Chris!
