In May, 2020, I used Lucas Septic to install TWO septic tanks. On October 10, 2022, I had to have the one for my house pumped out. That is very unusual for a two person household. Today February 27, 2023 (4 months later) I had to pay again to have it pumped out. The liquid is not draining at all from the tank. I have tried to contact Lucas, called his cell phone however, he will not answer his phone and the message service if full so sent him a text. During the installations, he had made some promises which he did not keep, even after several phone calls. I am thinking of small claims court to try to get him to repay me for the money I spent for a system that lasted LESS THAN 3 YEARS. These actions from Lucas Septic are not professional and people need to be aware of who they are hiring. I cannot and will not recommend him to anyone.

I read the review before mine and almost dropped my phone screaming because the exact same thing happened to me. We paid 9k for a brand new septic tank and grinder. Well the first few months things were good. Then I got tenants and was told there was water pooling in the middle of the yard. I call Mr. Lucas and he said he would come the next day. I was like perfect thanks! Next no show no call. I texted and called, then had my maintenance supervisor to call and we would get no response. Don't waste your time. Nothing like paying good money for a product with a year warranty to not be able to get a call or text 6 months later. Sad.

Originally I was very happy with Lucas repair to my system. But after a year it has failed. Called Mr. Lucas and was told to add about 4 inches of topsoil to the areas giving me problems. That lasted about 6 to 8 months and failed again. Called and was promised someone would be out to check it out. No Show. Several more times a time was set and each time NO SHOW. Now he will not return my calls. At this time considering legal action. To recover the money already spent and cost of another company to repair his work. I will no longer recommend Mr. Lucas to do any work.

They did a great job!! Went above and beyond the call of duty. Probed to find our septic tank in the pouring down rain in the dark!! Will definitely use them again!!!!

Lucas serves the Charleston SC area and are great. Very professional, prompt & dedicated to doing the complete job at reasonable price. Customer satisfaction is very important to them as well as doing the best work. I was very pleased at thoroughness & work ethic. A family business they will do it right.
