We recently called Lucas to fix a leak in our fridge water line. Never thought I'd have to call them 2 days later for emergency service. But yeah, our water heater decided to implode at 5 pm today, leaving us without hot water. With kids to wash, dishes to do and laundry to run, this was not good news.

Two hours later Lucas was in there removing the old unit and installing the new one. By 930 pm we were all set. They literally left the competition in the dust. Companies that I called at 5pm still hadn't returned my calls just as Lucas was wrapping up.

Pricing wasnt cheap, but it was fair, and the speed at which they did everything was impressive. Professionally executed job at a fair price. Gotta love it.

Forget about the other. Mr. Lucas owns this company his name is on the trucks his name is his bond. they are the BEST. We use Steve the plumber is the very best BUT if he is not available they are all GREAT. Nice doing business with a small business man instead of a chain. They do everything.
Ask about a veterans discount.

Ridiculous. Small pinhole pipe repair.. I asked them to replace three valves in the same area. A very small amount of pipe, three ball valves, and a few Ts and 90 deg elbows. $124 for the parts that at a local home store would have cost $35. labor, 2 man hours, 2 guys to replace the pipe, $370, for a calculated value of $92/hour. $500 for pipe repair and valve replacement.

They say good things are worth waiting for.

Perhaps that wise person had plumbers in mind when he wrote this. Perhaps, not. But, even with waiting a long time past the original window promised by the scheduler, ultimately, it was the quality of the work that counted most in the service industry. Lucas had arranged with me to have someone at the house to fix a broken toilet between 8 and 10. There was no way to know in advance that a one hour job would become a four hour slog. They were courteous enough to call me twice to alert me to the circumstances, and offer to reschedule for next week. The thought of going through the long weekend down a flusher with guests in the house was an unpleasant image. I opted to wait it out.

Brandon arrived with apologies and explanations, and a positive demeanor. He got right to work diagnosing the problem and prescribing the cure. He had the necessary parts, and even had to change one when the first did not satisfy him. Soup to nuts, he was finished in just under an hour. He had to replace all the parts inside the tank to make the system work properly.

Plumbers aren't cheap. This job came in just under two bills. But, after I tried and failed to fix the problem last week, I considered the money well spent. Truth be told, I should have called Lucas sooner and saved everyone a lot of stairs while this facility was down.

Lesson learned.

Lucus LTD was recommended to me from a friend and I had them come out to replace a kitchen faucet and drain and I couldn't have been happier. The guy who came out was very courteous and professional. I know someone mentioned they were expensive but I have had 3 other plumbers come out for quotes and Lucus LTD was about $20-$30/hr less then the others so I would say their rate is reasonable. I think I found my new plumber!

You get what you pay for and thats good because this place is definitely expensive. But when the time comes and you need a job done right, this place should be the choice. They will bill you for everything.

Wonderful service!!! I had an emergency and called them ""after hours"": they called back quickly, showed up promptly, and fixed the problem professionally!!! Steve was very courteous. Now they have a lifelong customer!!!

Great service and friendly staff. I called and talked to a friendly and accommodating scheduler. The mechanic that came out did a great job on our leaking pipe. I highly recommend this company.

This was a service call that shows why plumbers have the reputation they have. I had a toilet that needed repair. I replaced everything but could not get everything back together correctly as the inflow tube needed to be changed. I had used this plumber before and called them since I had guests coming and needed someone quickly. Lesson 1: Just because they come quickly, doesn't mean you should use them. The plumber, who charged $160/hour, said he had to take everything apart and put it back together. He did and it still leaked. He said there was no crack in the tank but he didn't know why it leaked and I could spend another $160 and try to find the leak or get a new toilet. $750 later, I had a new toilet, even though there seemed to be no reason that he couldn't put everything together so it didn't leak. Lesson 2: Don't call this plumber if you need to get something done right away. Basically, a simple toilet repair turned into a major project all because this high priced plumber couldn't figure out why the tank was leaking out the bottom despite his claim that he couldn't find any crack in the tank!
