Better off using another provider. Charged $75 for a service call to inform me there wasn't anything they could do about the brand new hot water heater they provided and installed not maintaining hot water. Terrible

All I can say is the reviews listed do not match my experience. The bad part of my experience was the home warranty company (HMS). After 8 days fighting with property manager and warranty company, Lowes plumbing actually helped solve it. They were able to install a water heater for me after 8 days in December without hot water. Understanding, fast, honest, and all around pleasant to deal with. Thanks Lowes Plumbing! And anyone using HMS HOME WARRANTY, good luck!

This is the WORST company I worked with!!! DO NOT EVEN TRY TO WORK WITH THEM. Home Warranty Company referred me to them, Amanda that is on the phone (she claims she is the manager and the call person) is the rudest person I have ever talked on the phone. They could not fix properly all three issues that I had. Also they screwed up my shower valve, and they did not want to come again with scheduling time only after two weeks for only a diagnosis which means that I had to stay without proper shower for two weeks. They say they have only two plumbers, that is the reason why. I asked my warranty company to change them, as I do not want to even talk to them. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY!!!

Their guy mis-diagnosed the issue and we wasted more time from being mis-directed. Our shower didn't bring out hot water. He said it wasn't a plumbing issue but it's our ""boiler"". Subsequently, 3 other vendors (2 plumbers and 1 boiler technician) -- all said it just required a shower valve replacement. As a result another 2 weeks wasted being mis-directed to a boiler expert, then back to calling other plumbers. Smart plumbers said: boiler usually heats up the house and is usually separate from daily water uses (eg eat, shower, cook), although very rarely it ""could"" at times heat up one or more of these as well, but not ordinarily. At least they weren't slow to come out on their service call though.

Sent by a warranty company. Broke a piece of the plumbing they were ""repairing"". They must know the warranty well so broke a piece that was not covered and they could charge me. Initially did not get approval for additional repairs, clearly another way to try for more than the co-pay. Make sure your warranty companies know when they send crooks who don't know what they're doing.
Shoddy workmanship, the repaired plumbing still leaks and what they charged me for after they broke it does not even match the other exposed plumbing parts. In addressing Lowe's, their rep was rude and insulting.

This is our second Plumbing company sent by my Warranty company. They came out and made a hole in the ceiling and barely look at the pipe and left undiagnosed.... The leak was more apparent and I called them back for recall yet they cancelled the appt twice stating the technicians are sick. They give 4 hour blocks for the appointment and my wife had to give up her time to wait for them but wasted her time for their last min cancellation. I contacted another plumbing company who came out next day and solved the problem.. Not all plumbing company are the same...

I had Adam from Lowe's come out to replace my sump pump. He was professional, fast and was patient when I showed up a little bit late.

Our home warranty company made things difficult for us in terms of getting what needed to be done corrected, but I will not hold this against Lowe's.

Hard to find quality plumbers! We called asking for the plumber to research why our washer drain keeps overflowing. The technician arrives and the first snake was broken, then he precedes to use a large one he claims won't go down the drain. Then he uses his last choice a hand held snake which has a length of maybe five feet. Today the drain overflowed again. We've used them in the past and had very good service but after this go around we will look for a new plumber. I can't afford $185 for poor service and a problem which is still not fixed.
