My AC stopped working on a hot Sunday afternoon in July. I called Lower that evening and left a message. They called me back at 7:30 am the next day. They came right out and fixed the problem. I was ever so grateful for their quick response and fix. I have had Lower Heating and Air for years and I plan on keeping them for lots more years. Quick response and friendly staff, you can't beat it.

Had Lower install a shower to replace the tub for my 92 year old mom. The initial estimate was 2700, which I though was pricy even with the glass doors but not too over the top. They said the cost included the outside contractor to fix the drywall and remove a window, but I said I would paint myself and they said it would be less- around 300 less. When they get there they said they don't do glass doors, which is a major part of the cost- so why didn't the guy who came to give us the estimate say that? No way I'd pay 2700 for just a stall, they told her they would take off 300 for the confusion. Then when the contractor came he demanded payment and did not give my mom a bill for 300. Lower totally took my elderly mom for at least 600 bucks here aside from 2400 to install a simple shower stall is absolutely terrible. And they did a bad job, the walls are bowed in. Stay away from these thieves.

After such great service from Lower last year on our a/c unit, I thought I'd try them again on a water heater that had gone out and needed to be replaced. After some discussion, they recommended that I upgrade to a 50 gal tank in my home versus the 40 gal tank we had. They asked questions about the size of my home and family and then gave us a great price to do the upgrade. I have to say we are thrilled. In the past we always seemed to run out of hot water, now it seems to last forever in comparison. Thanks again guys for listening to our needs and delivering. Can't say enough about the service from these guys! You are our go to now and the ones we will always recommend.

Purchased an A/C from this company in February. They installed it and said they would call to schedule an A/C start up in the spring. End of May and no call so we called them (already hit a few days well into the 90's). Scheduled for a week out. On the day they were supposed to show up, they called 5 minutes before the appointment time (not a window, but an actual time was given) to tell me they would not be able to make it that day because it rained the day before. Really? So I asked them why they didn't call the day before, well they couldn't have known it was raining when they left the office the day before. Even though it had been raining all day and was forecasted to rain all night as well. What about 30 minutes before the appt time? Well, they weren't in the office yet and the technicians don't make phone calls. Wow. Customer service at it's finest. But they could reschedule me for another week out... We are now looking at mid June before they can do the start up on a brand new A/C they told me not to run until they could do the start up.

Called and asked the company to service the fan/blower on my furnace. Signed a contract for service. They sent a tech out who didn't service the fan, but instead decided he wanted to sell me an entirely new unit and refused to service the fan. Then the supervisor told me the tech also shut the furnace off with the temperature below freezing.

1. Did not service the unit as agreed.
2. Did not describe any policies, procedures, or contingencies pertaining to work order we agreed upon.
3. Demanded I buy a replacement unit from them.
4. Shut off the unit during below freezing temperatures with nobody home all day.
5. Refused to go back and perform work as agreed.
6. Refused to go back and turn the unit on during freezing temperatures.

Fail. This was a textbook bait and switch. If I could score them below a single star, I would.

I'll update this review after they try to bill me for something on which we did not agree.
