Low Cost Plumbing was quick to come out and help us find a leak. They found it quickly when another company couldn't. They stopped the leak and their final price was even less than quoted!!! They were fast, friendly, affordable, and REALLY knew their work. I cannot thank them enough!!!

Scheduled appointment for price quote on Water leak detection system; was asked to take pictures of where system would be installed & where main water line into house is; then they scheduled an appointment for Wednesday, April 10, 2024 between 8:00 am - 10:00 am & I verified that there would be no charge for the estimate & I was told no charge. I get call today, day of appointment at 9:35 am & I am told that instead there will be a charge of $85.00 for the estimate, No other plumbing company has charged me for an estimate! Totally Unprofessional & they just wasted my time, since I had been waiting for them since 8:00 am this morning. I Would NEVER recommend this company.

Nice fellow, but they refused to clear my drain unless I signed a document agreeing to pay them if they broke their equipment while running the hydrojet -- with no limit on how much that could cost. I'm not the professional.

I needed a plumber because the city noticed higher usage of water & that the meter was still reading water usage even after nothing was running in the house. They advised I get a plumber out to check for leaks in my house & around my property. I hired this company because of the good reviews. I called in the morning & a plumber was sent out by 4 pm same day. The man was very polite & started going through the house checking all toilets, sinks etc. I did advise him that there was a leaky bathroom faucet that dripped but nothing else noticed. We have a pool & our pool man said there was no leak. The plumber did notice that 2 toilets were not adjusted to fill properly when installed & he graciously fixed that problem for us. Other than that there were no other leaks & after manually turning off all sinks & toilets the water meter was still running. He charged $65 to check the sinks, toilets & around the property but that he was concerned about a leak under the house & will be an additional $100 to crawl under house. Had no problem with that. I just wanted the problem resolved & trusted his expertise. He didnt find any leaks under the house. He advised that he will check the sprinklers & pool now (thought had already been checked) he came back inside & said he turned off the sprinkler valve & the meter is still reading water usage. He said that I would need to pay $480 for a leak detection underground. I sent him off with a root beer and would give a call back to schedule. I'm a 30yr old female I know very little about plumbing. I do know that you have to shut off the water to the house & check the meter to rule out a leak coming from the home. Thinking he had done that, I was seriously thinking I would need to pay for the leak detection underground. My nephew came over to change my leaky bathroom faucet & the shutoff valves. My nephew has worked for a remodeling company as well has helped his father remodel their own home, I knew he could change a simple bathroom faucet which this company was going to charge $450 to do after I purchased the faucet & valves ($50 at Lowe's took 30 minutes to do). my nephew had to replace the valves, he needed to shut off the water to the house. He went outside & noticed the shut off valve to the house was leaking spraying water. (It's an old valve). Mind you the plumber I just paid $165 to check this, never mentioned this. after close examination, this appears to have been leaking for some time. of course I call & speak to a manager about this important issue that was missed. This should have been one of the first things checked before even going under my home & charging $100, especially before quoting me nearly $500 for an underground leak detection. I was given a call back by the plumber's supervisor, was told that he wasn't sure why his plumber didn't notice that leak, that it's an old valve so my nephew must have caused it to leak. I advised the supervisor that this appears to have been leaking for quite some time. I sent pictures & a video. This was not 30 minutes of leaking. This was a long while you can tell by the ground around the leak, & the valve itself. The supervisor said that he would give me a call back after speaking to the plumber that came to my home the day prior. Called me back within a half hour. Told me that he's saying it wasn't leaking when he came, that him the supervisor were actually on the phone with him when he was outside checking the water valve & that the plumber was afraid touch it because it looks so old that he was worried it would start leaking. (Didn't tell me this on our prior phone call when I advised him it was missed). I'm paying for an expert to advise me when something is wrong. I was charged $100 to go under my house for no reason, and quoted for something unnecessary. Got the valve replaced today by someone else, and the meter is no longer running. Why would a plumber be scared to touch a shutoff valve or not inform me that it looks like it should be replaced? I was told by the supervisor, that he could come and give a free quote for the shutoff valve replacement to make up for it being missed the first walk through, and that i would be given a small credit towards the estimate if I decide to move forward with it. This honestly doesn't satisfy me. I think I should be reimbursed for going under my home since it wasn't needed. I paid their fee of $65 to check all above ground water sources for leaks. That wasn't done prior to going under my home. Also why quote me nearly $500 for leak detection underground when other problems weren't checked first. also why not tell me that my water valve to the house wasn't looking good and quote me to replace that and go through a process of elimination. again the man that came was very nice looked like he was in his 20s. Very polite and seemed to be trying to be helpful. not sure if this is a lack of training or lack of integrity. But I didn't feel comfortable trusting them with replacing the valve.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! Don't believe the other reviews. Unprofessional flakes. My water heater broke. So I have no hot water. Can't shower, can't do laundry, etc. They set a three hour window to come to my home. They texted right before the end of the day and said they couldn't make it. They did not reschedule another time. I was left in limbo without hot water. They didn't answer their phone when I tried to call. They didn't respond to my (very polite) voicemail at all. It seemed like they couldn't care less about me as a customer.

If I could rate it no star, I would. I made an appointment a week out because that was the only opening. Based on the reviews, I only made it with this business. Schedule to arrive today 1-3pm. No one showed up. I proceed to text them, they claim they are running behind. I tried to be understanding and agreed to let them come at 5-6pm. It is now 7pm, no show.

The entire experience was great. When I called a recording came on that said if you're experiencing COVID systoms to basically let them know so they can do alternatives for you. This gave me a piece of mind that they care about thier employees and their community. Then I got a live person and didn't need to leave a message, which I appreciate, because the others I had to leave messages and wait for a call back to schedule a time. I work still so this was very convenient to not have to play phone tag. When Moses got here he wore gloves and a mask the entire time. He was very professional and took care of the issue. He was in and out in a timely manner. He also showed up on time and I was alerted via text.

We will be using them again.

Call this company! Great service, NO arm twisting, fair and honest pricing. Had a water heater issue, was presented with 2 solutions, Martin was happy to repair or replace the unit. Thank you for no pressure. Highly recommend.
