We have used Lou's Plumbing several times since moving into a home that had been left vacant, derelict, and poorly flipped. Lou's services have been quick, professional, and priced unexpectedly reasonable for the extent of our issues. The quality and kindness of the staff is the best! Bridgette their admin assistant was surprisingly knowledgeable about plumbing issues. She put a high value on our comfort, coordinating plumbers and scheduling services asap. Tony is an exceptionally experienced plumber. He so kindly went way above and beyond to ensure our issue was solved. And after resolving the extensive issue, the bathroom looked like he had never been there. Pro all the way!! A special thank you to Anthony (manager?) for making sure we were well taken care of. :-) Lou's Plumbing offers the best services and staff we have ever experienced in 25 years of home ownership. Might be ok if all you need is something basic and you don't feel I like doing it yourself. Would NOT recommend them for anything more complicated than basic plumbing repairs. First, despite advertising on their website to call for a quote they refuse to provide one; not even a range. Should've been a sign they don't know what they're doing. Any company that's done kitchen installation for more than a few months would be able to provide a price range for a basic kitchen installation. Second, it took a good 4 hours to do and the guy left for over an hour in the middle of the job. Then he took payment and left w/o even securing the sink to the countertop; just left it resting there w/o clips or silicone. So of course once I realized it I had to have them come back out again to do the job correctly. Never did apply the clips either. Well, he installed one that isn't actually clipped to anything. Added bonus, he drilled an extra silver dollar sized hole in my cabinet wall w/ nothing running through it and my faucet wobbles like crazy. Five hours and $512 later, not real thrilled. Won't use them again. Side note, I don't recommend Total Comfort either. Equally as terrible but might be a bit cheaper at least.

I paid over $350 for them to auger a partial obstruction believed to be a root, tighten a loose toilet and replace a nut under the kitchen sink... the 2 small jobs were done very quickly and nicely, however just 10 days after the guy pulled out a small clog which was not the root material, both my toilets stopped completely yesterday after a larger than usual amount of tp was used. I called back and was told it was probably the septic system, call and ask and that she (Lou's secretary) would ask the owner about coming back out to fix the problem... I called Woody's septic service and the lady agreed with my thoughts that since there was no sewage backing into the shower and no bubbling in the toilet that is was indeed a plumbing issue and not a septic tank issue. I called Lou's plumbing back today and was told that they would come back out if I wanted to pay again.... I hardly think 2.5 hours garners $370 without the proper result. I was told that """"since the toilet was working when the worker left the job was done""""...the toilet wasn't having a problem...I was also told that since the guy wrote """"pull and reset toilet"""" that it doesn't matter what was said on the phone or why I hired them, he did his job. Don't get me wrong, the guy who came out was nice and professional, but after hearing excuse after excuse and the job I requested not being done as requested I can not speak well of the company.

A1 service once again. I have used Lou's plumbing in the past and been happy with them. This time I had an emergency with a water heater leaking into the garage. After initially telling me they were backed up for a couple days they called back and said Lou would be coming out himself to take care of it. Within 30 minutes Lou was at my house and had the job completed in a couple hours. Can't say enough good things about this company. Great customer service!

Top Shelf Service is what you get when you use Lou's Plumbing. They have been taking care of my plumbing needs for over ten years. The very first time I used their services, I picked them at random. I live out of town and a received a call from a neighbor about our weekend house. She stated water appeared to be """"pouring"""" out from under my garage door and down my driveway. I was alarmed and not on site to assess the situation, I knew I needed to get a plumber there quickly. I selected Lou's since they had an Ormond address and gave them a call. It was an Easter Sunday and I wasn't sure I would reach anyone and if I did, I was worried about when they could come, how much whatever the problem was would cost for repair, and then, of course, any weekend surcharges. My call was taken by the owner. He immediately put me at ease and said he would drive over to take a look at the problem. Within two hours I received a call back. My water heater had blown, but Lou turned off everything and said he would return the following day with a replacement water heater that he would install. He quoted me a reasonable price (for this situation I would have paid double!) and let me mail him a check. When my husband and I returned to the house two weeks later, everything was in perfect order. In the world of home repairs, It is not often that I have the opportunity to work with someone who takes pride in their work, keeps their word, does what they say they will do, when they say their will do it and charges you a fair price for very good work. But that is what happened that Easter more than 10 years ago. Subsequent to that visit, I have always used Lou's Plumbing for any emergent and non-emergent plumbing needs. They never disappoint. Same great customer service, great work and fair prices every time.

Very impressed from the time I called to set up an appointment (with receptionist) to the plumber that arrived to complete the job. Though he was a little delayed, to be expected when you have some jobs that take a little longer. Once he arrived he was very quick to fix the problem and do it well. He was very professional. He even showed me how to immediately look for a water leak in the system just by watching the meter. Price was about right for my job. I expected it to be in the ball park of the final bill so all was good there. Overall, first time used and I WILL use them again.

I needed to have an outside faucet and a toilet flush mechanism replaced. They gave me a ballpark estimate over the phone and the actual price was very close to the ballpark estimate and the price was reasonable. The service was fast and friendly. The plumber arrived an hour late because a previous job took longer than expected, but you can have that with any contractor.

I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs. When I called about a problem with my shower, they were wonderful helping my diagnose the problem and giving me an fair and accurate quote on what I could expect to pay for the repairs. When Jay arrived he was on time and very friendly. He was excellent in talking me through what he thought needed to be done. He was efficient and did it in a timely manner. I was very impressed with the whole experience!

VERY happy with the service we received this afternoon. Originally scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, received a call from the office advising that the tech was in the area and finished up early on another job and could fit us in now if we were available. Matt was very kind and knowledgeable. He left our kitchen as clean as it was when he got here. Rates were very reasonable in my opinion. Would definitely recommend them and use this company again.

Always thought they were #1 but Plumber came out yesterday to replace front faucet, garage overflow valve; bathtub faucet valve. Didn't wait long enough for glue to dry. Had to call office to have him back. He returned used jackhammer gadget to drill out big holes in the garage wall to add more plastic pipe, more glue, went up and over (really only needed more glue and time) and left it that way. Then didn't put back on Vacuum Breaker Backflow Valve on all my outside faucet on front one. Called back lady in office snippily told me he couldn't come back that day. They called next day and said he could come back at noon but the part would cost me $25.00; called All Florida Plumbing and the part is only $5.00! Very disappointed in how far down Lou's has gone :-(
