Louis installed our shower fixtures and drain for our bathroom remodel. After the work was completed, the drain was so full of detritus from the install that it backed up into the shower stall In a little over a month, requiring us to go under the house, detach the pipe, and dig out the concrete and mess since there was no way to clean the drain from within the house.Also, the hot and cold mixer was installed backwards and the cold diverter valve was so pinched during the installation that we had very little cold water at all. On the bar that held our two showerheads, the bottom was never properly connected to the wall and the top connector, which could not hold the weight of the fixture, leaked into both the wall and down the sides of the shower stall because it was never sealed properly either within the wall or against the shower tile. We called him back on some of these problems but he basically denied any responsibility and did nothing about them. We had to do all the repairs ourselves, over time, and frankly there was nothing terribly complex about the work but it was tedious and somewhat expensive for us. We would have been perfectly content if he had simply taken responsibility and fixed the shoddy workmanship of his original job, But he preferred simply denying his mistakes.

As for Louis's response that he has never done business with us or had a complaint, he was called in by our builder Tim not only to do the original plumbing install but he was called back and came reluctantly when our shower first acted up. He looked it over and said everything was just fine, tinkered around a little bit doing little or nothing. I have the credit card bill to prove it.

He's Still the worst of a human I've experienced. You can spin the True facts however you like. Initially, we called YOU simply because we needed a professional plumber, unfortunately, that was not you, the professional part that is. However, I was able to find the best Pro right after my experience with you. Sorry! job completed. I noticed you went back in to update an old review I gave you back in March of this year. Probably you have nothing i.e job's better to do with your life & time other than trying to harass, customers who fired you before you even got started well, your personality and lack of professionalism are deplorable. Please Get a life, and just move on!. I simply found much better professionals. Oh Yes, there are many. Hopefully,? you? should strive for that in your business model when you grow up. In a small market where you live, people are smart and they can see through you via your responses?. You have been in the Tehachapi area for many years and only 10 old reviews from people who are far out of the Tehachapi??? Possibly, friends. Sad. You even boast that you have been in business for over 30 years. What is that? One review every three years? I wish? it could've been better but it is what it is.

Excellent service! I was told by another plumber that my line was collapsed and needed to be replaced for $5000-$6000 BUT Louie's Plumbing was able to get everything working great without having to dig or replace anything. It was a simple clog and the line wasn't even collapsed. Louie's Plumbing is an honest company that won't try to trick you into spending unnecessary money. I am so glad they came to my rescue!!

My wife and I are long time residents of Tehachapi and have relied on Louie for our plumbing needs for some time. He has always been more than accommodating to our scheduling as we maintain homes in Tehachapi and Northern California so are not available there all the time. Louie has always adjusted his schedule to help us out, performed work necessary at a more than fair rate and in a timely manner. On this last trip, we decided to change out our water main line and install a shut off valve at the house and enclose this all in a new underground vault so a new install of a ""Scale Blaster"" water treatment system could be installed. Time was short, Louie was initially committed to previous personal plans but called and was able to juggle his schedule to help us out and arrived with his son and worker, Joe who is an Army veteran, to perform the work. They were professional, covered our lawn and made fast work on a very hot day of the project, installing the new 1"" water main and underground vault and shut off valve as well as making the connections for the new water treatment system, testing the system and covering it back up with little evidence that any work had been done. I would highly recommend Louie for any plumbing need as he prompt, courteous, his work exceptional and rates more than reasonable for the quality of work he does. As my work as a Senior Project Manager in the residential/commercial real estate field includes assembling and supervising a skilled labor crew, I find that Louie is head and shoulders above all other plumbing professionals I have relied upon in the past. I love Louie and he hasn't even completed the job yet! My rental property needed to have a tub replacement in a very short period to allow the tenant to move in. Louie went over to provide an estimate, and very thoroughly explained all the ins and outs of what needed to happen. (And it was kind of a pain because not just any tub would fit in the space.) Knowledgeable, customer-oriented, Johnny-on-the-Spot. Louie took care of scheduling this in short order and it will be done the day before the tenant moves in! I've got him in permanent ink on my Go-To List now!
