I used the Yelp feature to send a request for an estimate to a bunch of companies at once, and Louie & Sons was the only one to reply with an actual *estimate*, not just a ""We can do this, call our office to schedule service"" message. So that was the beginning of the great service from them!
My issue wasn't an emergency (just a slow draining tub), so I hadn't expected them to come out too soon, but they were able to come the next day. I was happily surprised!
Price was great, the two men who came were very professional and they got my shower draining perfectly. No more needing to stand in water while I shower!

First plumber to respond and work with me through a tenant. Cost was also appropriate and availability.

Excellent service very helpful and priced right. Highly recommended . Very glad I called them.

Cleaned my clogged drain. Professional and prompt service.
Highly recommend. Call these guys.

We had a toiletastrophe and I called Louie and Sons on Monday morning. By early afternoon they had gotten us a new toilet, brought it to us, removed the old one, and snaked out the drains all the way to the street. I was expecting a crazy bill for the expedited service and for how long it must have taken to go get the new one and do all the work here at the house but I was very happily surprised at how reasonable they were. Super fast and affordable plus very thorough and professional. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

After reading all the great reviews, I decided to call Louie & Sons. The price they quoted me over the phone was less than all the other plumbers I had received quotes from, also they were able to come the same day. They two men who came to our house were very professional and they were able to complete the job in less than an hour. Louie & Sons is our new plumbing company.

It was when this guy came to my house and started doing the dust mitigation for my repipe that I called the Construction Industries Division. It was completely haphazard and rushed and his dust mitigation procedures made no sense. After I called CID, this guy texted me and said he had 16 plus years experience and then he had been licensed for over 8 years. He said he had done over 1000 repipes. He later texted I never pulled the permit It's not needed. He later admitted that he only had a journeyman's license and couldn't pull a permit. He only offered a 90 day warranty and if you don't get a permit, there is no inspection by CID. In another text he said I mean I've done several repipes over the years and had no problems. So which is it? A thousand or several? According to Jacob Baca, Architectural Compliance Officer Plan Reviewer from the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department, ""He is correct a Journeyman's license cannot pull a permit, according to the Mechanical Bureau Chief, he should not be re-piping the home either.""
Jacob Baca's complete reply was ""He is correct a Journeyman's license cannot pull a permit, according to the Mechanical Bureau Chief, he should not be re-piping the home either. Now if he was a journeyman working under an MM-98 that is acceptable. I would highly recommend you contact a NM Licensed Plumber to complete this job if you are needing inspections. As a consumer you are within your rights to ask for a license number to verify it is active with the state of NM."" So he told me a permit wasn't needed and that's untrue. He's dishonest.

The gal on the telephone was very helpful .. SHE contacted me as a referral for American Home Shield. The first referral was Moreno Plumbing. I left an URGENT voicemail Fri late afternoon re my air con was not working at all ! Office was closed Sat-Sun, so NO call back at all ! Had to call American Home Shield again, had to BEG for urgent service. Their second referral was LOUIS and SONS .. received a call right away, and scheduled for next morning. TONY was courteous, professional and certainly got the job done ! Would use them again in a heartbeat !

Diagnosed problem with bathtub that was not draining and worked into schedule the next day to install new pipes in crawl space. Also fixed bathroom sink drain problem at the same time. Will be hiring again to replace some more old pipes in crawlspace. Very pleased with their work.

Louie did a great job. He was fast and priced fairly. I will hire him again and use him as my plumber.
