Went in as a new buyer of kitchen faucets. Liked ""pull downs"" but did not want one that did not look sleek and solid. John helped me know what I wanted and the store had exactly what I wanted. Ordered that day and picked up (perfect recessed pull down) next day. Done deal.

The Powder Room set a new high in customer satisfaction in my book. I bought a cartridge to fix a leaky Grohe faucet but ran into problems trying to take the faulty cartridge out. I took the entire assembly out and went back to the store to see if I could get a new assembly instead. John looked at the part and told me to wait. He quickly ran across the street and asked one of the car mechanics to help. John came back a few minutes later with the faulty cartridge removed. He then replaced it with the new cartridge I bought a few days ago. Problem fixed without additional cost. In my book this is customer satisfaction at the highest level and is hard to come by. Thank you, John!

We went to Powder Room on Monday afternoon 30 minutes before closing time. The old man didn't seem to welcome me and my kids. His tone and physical gestures implied that me and my kids shouldn't come this late. Nevertheless, I tried to behave and talked to him nicely to let him know that I was a serious buyer. He did treated us nicer after I asked him for help. Overall, I would say I didn't feel like I was getting proper treatment from him. Maybe he had a bad day or maybe he wanted to claim his right to refuse service to any person for any reason.
I told him that my husband and I would come back the next day to make the final decision. He simply asked me ""who was buying? The pumper, the husband or you?""
Whatever he meant, I decided not to come back to his store.

The Powder Room is the best place to go for Kitchen & Bath plumbing needs in the bay area. We recently had a problem with our shower fixture. We were told by other stores to replace it with a new fixture, since our current fixture was made by a company that had gone out of business. Kathy and John helped us pick out a replacement fixture, but they also encourage us to review options to fix the current fixture. With John's coaching, we were able find an industry standard part to fix our current fixture. This saved us money as well as help keep our current bathroom design intact. They have an incredible network of suppliers that allow them to get products quickly. Today was my first experience with ""The Powder Room"". An employee named John was very knowledgable and helpful. I showed him the old bathtub spout that I needed a replacement for. He quickly checked his stock & found exactly what I was looking for.

I told him that an employee at RV Cloud referred me to his business because they didn't have the part which was a surprise to both of us. Obviously I won't be going back to RV Cloud again.

John was great & I informed him that in the future, I will buy all my bathroom & kitchen fixtures from ""The Powder Room"". Great customer service & knowledgable employee(s)!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with John and The Powder Room. I found myself in a pinch and in need of a cabinet and counter top for a remodel that was already in the works. John was so helpful, worked with me on different manufacturers that met the color and style I wanted. He followed up on status, before I even needed to ask. The Powder Room occupies a small corner space on N Santa Cruz Avenue, across Roberts Rd from the DMV. It is 2 short blocks from the larger and more forbidding Los Gatos Plumbing Supply showroom. I was looking for a solution to a problem that I had with it taking minutes for hot water from my heater to arrive at some of my faucets. I was wasting many gallons of water just to get hot water for my sink and dishwasher. I assumed that I would need an auxiliary, under sink, water heater installed.

Instead, the saleswoman at The Powder Room recommended a hot water circulation pump, and a patented ""comfort valve"". I incorrectly assumed that I would need to install a hot water return line, but this system uses the existing cold water line, obviating the need for extensive plumbing work.

The folks who own the showroom also own Thornes Plumbing. Tom Thorne does installations for fixtures purchased at the store. We bought the pump and made an appointment for installation. Tom arrived at the exact time scheduled, and he quickly and neatly installed the pump and valve.

The solution works great, and I am very pleased with the knowledge and service from The Powder Room. Highly recommended!
