This is the second time that he has provided a solution when other failed or didn't even want to try.

Wow! The kind of customer service you don't expect anymore. The hand held shower head broke (it was old). It's very important for my 2 elderly, disabled parents. John understood and ordered my part for the next day and gave me a loaner handheld in the mean time. New part was there in less than 24 hours. Such wonderful service. Thank you.

Our guest toilet was constantly filling the bowl with water, which meant the flapper wasn't holding the water in the reservoir. I've fixed these myself before, but this current toilet is ""special"" and I couldn't service it directly. The Power Room was incredible.

John -- in the store, he quickly helped me identify the toilet model I had, the parts inside, and provided instruction on how the pieces fit together.
Art -- the new owner was super easy to work with, sent texts on the iPhone with estimates and line item costs. Not only that, he got us schedule very quickly.
Chris -- the guy who came on site hit some snags while trying to install the new parts, did some thinking, did some research, and found a way to get the new parts to fit smoothly. He tested it and did a demo for us at which point we found related problem requiring him to more time. He was pleasant, easy to work with and kept saying, ""I'm here to make this work. I'll make this work."" And he did. He was pleasant. He had a genuine smile. And he was dedicated.

Good COVID protocol. Needed to order a Toto toilet that was compatible with a Toto Seat. They looked up our model # and gave us options. We purchased it, paid to have it installed (~$250) only to find out that when we too the seat of the box it didn't fit. We then had to have the toilet pulled, re-boxed, and taken back. We ordered a compatible model, picked it up and had to pay another $250 for install. They took no resposibility for the mistake and refused to offer any compensation. We needed a new wax seal ring and even made us pay $10 for it.... (2x higher than ACE).

I would have rated them 4-5 stars if we didn't have these problems. My point is that the ultimate measure of service is how a business will respond to problems caused by them to their customers. A real insult and a great disappointment....

Great experience yesterday. Discovered that the water shutoff valves to our house were not operating. By afternoon - all fixed. We used Thorne's plumbing (previous owners) for years. The new owners have not missed a beat.

Art helped get a technician sent out to my rental in San Jose the same morning I called. Freddy was quick and courteous. He fixed the stopped faucet quickly and my tenant was very pleased. Not to mention Art had great communication with me the whole time. Will be using these guys again if my Grohe gets stopped up again. A+, 5x Star Service! Cheers!

Words can hardly describe the extra effort John made for us. We walked in with a high-end bathroom faucet that leaked. John took that faucet and, instead of selling us a new one, worked to fix the one we had. He ultimately fixed it, and all we needed was a new cartridge.
There is only one store I will go to when I need fixtures, and it's The Powder Room. John is amazing.
