Fantastic experience with a difficult situation (a number of under slab leaks). Leon is a joy to deal with and a master of his craft. There are some great retail/residential plumbers out there who provide a broad range of services. Longhorn Water isn't one of them. Leon and his team are specialists in under slab repair and were highly spoken of by a number of contractors I've worked with.
If you're looking for a franchise operation with extensive documentation and marketing materials... there are other options. If you're looking for an experienced & cost effective team, this is a great option.

We got a recommendation from our foundation leveling company for Longhorn Water after the hydrostatic test failed upon completion of the leveling. Leon contacted us swiftly, came out same day to take a look over the place and ran a quick test himself. He was able to determine the general location of the leak (master bath, under the foundation slab) and got his crew out the next morning to start digging.
Even with some poor weather (drizzle and showers) they worked thru the day and got some progress. It still took another couple days to enlarge the hole, find the exact leak, and address the issue. Like he said, the actual fix took all of 10-15 minutes, while the digging was the long part. One completed and clear hydrostatic test later (which his associate had me view with him for my peace of mind), his crew filled the hole back up. That took much less time! They cleaned up the yard afterwards and all was better.
Now, we were expecting around a $5000 charge for his work, based on some online estimates we've seen. To our surprise Leon's charge was much less, considering the man-hours put in to this endeavor. So, 5 stars for being quick, for fixing the job, for having a good bunch of guys on his team, and for treating us fairly. Leon knew we were in a bind with needing to get our house sold and this fix was holding up the process, he's an honorable businessman! I would say if you need plumbing work under your foundation, he's the only guy to call.

I got a recommendation from a neighbor for Longhorn Water after getting a report of plumbing damage after foundation work. Leon, walked me through his troubleshooting process (showing the proof as we went), and did not nickel and dime me. He had his crew dig under the house from outside to prevent interior remodeling. The work was great & the price was awesome compared to competitors. I give Leon and Longhorn Water my highest recommendation.

Longhorn Water inspected our drain system after some foundation work when the home was for sale. A month later and we had never seen a report. However, Leon reported to our potential buyer that the plumbing 'failed'. Also, he told us he was unable to conduct the hydrostatic test he was paid to do. In another conversation he said he did conduct the hydrostatic test but has never produced a report showing this. He failed to show up on two different appointments. He was inconsistent with what he says. I would not trust any work to Leon of Longhorn Water Plumbing.

Based on the above recommendation, I called Longhorn about a broken water line to my house, that most plumbers I called about did not care to tackle, or else were too busy for several weeks out. I did get a couple of estimates that I considered a little high for thirty feet of PEX pipe (no one wanted to repair the water line near a tree).
Longhorn's estimate was much more affordable for me - $1500, as I recall - and they completed the work in one day most satisfactorily. The owner, Leon, didn't ding me for the extra time they had to spend finding where the line tied in at the house, after it turned out to be not quite where they thought.

Longhorn water was able to find the leak under my house and get it repaired in a couple of days.
