Did not die test the pool, missed full leak that 2 other companies found, and first appointment the service guy did not even enter the pool. Quote was higher than another competitor that fixed our pool leak. Also one of the drains was plugged and they did not even unplug to test if it leaked until our pool guy mentioned it.

I just bought my first home with a pool which I inherited it green with annoying frogs

I messaged a few pool companies and Jose with Lonestar pools was one of them. He got back with me super quick and answered all the questions I had. First off, most pool companies suggested me to drain my pool and quoted me between $700-900. That's not even the water bill included.
Jose didn't go this route as he was extremely confident he can get my pool Crystal clear and swimmable in a few short days. Another pool company said they can shock my pool but will take 2-3 weeks to get pool back to blue.

I obviously went with Jose as he was professional, confident and price was very reasonable. I'm glad I hired him because he was good for his word. My pool was blue within a few short days. Also, it rained 3 days out of the 5 days he was working on getting my pool blue. You think the rain stopped him? NO! He showed up even if it was raining to clean my filters out. I mean who does that? Jose does! 100%

Jose is a scientist when it comes to pool chemistry unlike the other pool guys who didn't want to mess with the chemistry and drain it instead. Anyone can drain and pressure wash a pool, not all can get a pool from green/black to blue within days. You need an expert and Jose is your guy!
Also, Jose is very honest which I really liked. I never owned a pool before so I'm a little dumb when it comes to the logistics. I was told my pool needed resurfacing which I was quoted between 5-10k. Jose also does resurfacing jobs and he was happy to give me a quote. He was honest with me and told me, my pool doesn't need resurfacing right away as it's more of a cosmetic issue. This was a relief for me as I just bought 2 homes and it would be nice to put the resurfacing on the back burner for the summer.

After he solved my green pool issue quickly.... I hired him to clean my pool on a weekly basis.
He's a gem and I'm super happy I found him. He's a one man show and very passionate about his work. Hire him and you and your pool will forever be happy.

We are thrilled so far after meeting with and getting started with Jose!! He's professional, knowledgeable, personable and hard working. He came to take a look at our pool that the last pool company really has been failing with, he got started right away addressing concerns that he found and showed me. He walked me through each step and explained why he would be doing it to help the pool function best. I already feel so much better about working with Jose and his company! Looking forward to working with Lone Star pools for years to come!

Pipes broke from the freeze on Christmas Eve. Came out right away and fixed them up real quick. Haven't had a problem since.

Jose and his team took over our pool maintenance after our last pool guy we fired. Our pool has never been so sparkling clean! They do not cut corners. The customer service is impeccable. Jose also installed a new automated system we can control via wifi from anywhere. This guy really knows what he is doing
