OK, why does it seem as though household emergencies always occur on holiday weekends? This is the second time our septic tank line from the house has clogged on a three-day holiday weekend. I called our regular septic service and after several minutes on hold was connected to their answering service. They informed me that they would pass along the message but they could not guarantee when they would check in. So I called Stuart London and left a message. I received a return call from Josh from his company within 5 minutes. Josh told me that he had an emergency call up country but that he could respond within about 5 hours. Josh called me back and kept me informed of his status and was at my house in less than 4 hours. After a few minutes, the septic line was cleared.
My only negative is the cost. Eighty dollars for a service call, One hundred fifty dollar minimum labor cost, and a charge for using the rooter machine. When I inquired of Josh before his arrival regarding the cost, he was a bit vague and made it sound as though the cost would be around $150. I was shocked when he told me it would be $350 when the job was done. I know it was a holiday weekend and an urgent call-out, however I find the price just a bit exorbitant. This was not a trip to the Emergency Room but I felt like it.
In their defense, I will say they were prompt, returned calls almost immediately, and got the job done efficiently. 12 hours later, I am still waiting for the call back from my regular septic service.

Dependable, and they get the job done! What more can you ask for? Plumbing, small construction jobs, repairs, leaks, hot water heaters, doors, tile, just about anything in and around the house.
They always call back, they always show up, they always fix the problem. Highly recommend! I've been using them for over 10 years now for various repairs around the house...

I had a great experience. I got a call back. They showed up on time. They were honest about what they could fix. The estimate was spot on. The work was done correctly. They exceeded my expectations. I would use them again.

I needed a new shut off valve put on my water line. I called Stuart London. First, booking him was a convoluted process, make an account at Londonbridge website, then go back and put my job into the account and onto the calendar. Why so many steps? Most other service professionals I deal with set an appointment on the phone. It was as if he was having me be his scheduling service.
Also, there were two costs he quoted me for a visit, one for the plumber to show up, which covered the first hour of labor, and another fee because the truck they sent had so many thousands of dollars of equipment on it. I called other plumbers, and the call fee which included the first unit of labor was pretty standard, but no one else charged a second fee for the equipment they carried around on their service vehicle. He would have charged me for the first hour, a fee for bringing equipment, the cost of the valve, and extra if the job took more than one hour.
The service I used ended up charging me for 90 minutes of labor and a valve, in short the call fee plus the extra half hour and the cost of parts. Very reasonable. Also, when they answered the phone they looked at their calendar and I looked at mine and we decided upon an appointment time. That was it.

This guy is a JOKE. Called him because unlike him, other contractors were super busy. Before even looking at my small job of replacing approx 5 pieces of siding and leveling my deck he quoted me ""several thousands and thousands of dollars"". He even went so far as to say "" yeah...you know it sounds like your whole house needs to be redone"". He also gave me a long winded lessons explaining that he is a contractor, not a handy man like his advertising states....i had to cut him off to tell him i knew exactly what he was. He explained that is why it is going to cost me ""quite a few thousands of dollars. He then had the nerve to tell me he charges 100.00 to look at my project and if i hire him he gives me a credit. I laughed him off the phone.

Stuart London doesn't return calls and brags about being sooo busy as if he is the only person on the planet that is important. He is arrogant and isn't a ""handyman"" at all. He is a contractor and charges contractor prices. He is misleading the public in my opinion.

They answered the phone and called me back! Although I didn't end up needing any work done, I would have definitely used them based on punctuality, professionalism, and competitive pricing. I greatly appreciated the honest answers I received and will not hesitate to call them again if needed.

He fixed a leak in my shower and when I got the bill I found that he had charged me about 300% for the parts and he said he gives a senior discount he gave me $10 off on a $280 bill. He told us he was going to call the next day and didn't and growled at my girlfriend when she call in the afternoon.
Because of the way he acted and didn't call we went with a construction company in Stockton.

Found this guy from Yelp and once again Yelp delivered. Really top notch service. He actually tried to talk me out of doing the work and tried to walk me through the repair over the phone so he didnt have to charge me. Ended up using him cause damage was to bad. Honest and reasonable prices. Has a 5 star Yelp review for a reason.

Stuart's team member, Josh, came over to fix a persistent leak under the kitchen sink. He arrived on time, had all the necessary parts on hand and had it repaired quickly. Glad to know we have such capable service providers in our area. I'll definitely call on them again.
