The technician arrived and quickly dx the problem with our AC. A compactor was broken. He said unfortunately he didn't have 1 on his truck & needed to go get it. He returned some 45 min later, puts the part in - maybe 15 max. When I asked if everything else was working ok - antifreeze ok? He looks me dead in the face & says that's not what the call was for. I was shocked! He's supposed to fix the AC & doesn't check everything????
then I get handed a bill with $189.00 labor cost!!!! Almost as much as the parts!!! Turns out Loescher CHARGES you for the time it takes to run to the store to grab a part & return to your home!!!!! I live in Dixon, the business is in Sterling. I was charged for his retrieval of a part simply because he didn't have it on his van!!!!
Add that to not doing a general checkup to make sure all was ok I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR HAVE THIS BUSINESS IN MY HOME AGAIN!!
plus the technician was an absolute jerk!!! Now I know why they want you to pay at the time of service!!!

Nice people and very knowledgeable technicians. They are very expensive though. 250 dollars to reset your toilet. 400 dollars to inspect you plumbing. 95 dollars just to show up. I don't think I could afford to use them again.

Billing takes forever to get and they write down longer then they were there the last gut who came was not friendly at all dont fix the problem the first time so they have to come back

When I moved in I found a cold air return not hooked to anything. I dug out a lot of dog hair. A scary amount! Loescher sent a tech right away. I wish I would of asked for his pictures! Oh my! Every duct in the basement and upstairs were full to the top with black dog hair. Scary! I'm so glad I called them.

Went onto their website early in the morning 5/20 and as soon as they opened (8am) they called and scheduled for a service rep. to come out when I got off work. Customer service super amazing and flexible with arranging the time to get to my house. They gave me options and because not knowing the age of my HVAC system(s) I decided to get brand new and they gave me a great deal and replaced my system very timely in a few days 5/25. I would definitely suggest Loescher to anyone I know for these types of services. Great installation team, service rep and sales rep!!! The best customer service ever!! Thanks to them all.

Sunday Memorial Day Weekend 85 degrees with the real feel 94. Went to turn on the AC and nothing. I was like really, thought I was going to be in real trouble. Couple of the service companies in the area don't offer 24 hour emergency services, so I thought I was really going to be screwed. I called Loescher and they were helpful and responsive. The tech that showed up found and fixed the problem immediately. Very Happy with the service and the cost, because I was afraid being a Holiday Weekend that they would really whack me. The tech was here for about an hour at the most and to have everything back up and running was well worth the cost. Which was fair. I would use them again no problem.

I had a gasket replaced on my blower motor and it cost me $578. I called to complain crazy cost for an easy fix and they would do nothing to lower the charge. $107 hour at 4.5 hours $64 for a 11oz rtv . Unless you have money to burn find another shop.

HORRIBLE Experience. Hire Anyone else. I've been charged for twice the amount of time they spent at my home. I usually have to help them troubleshoot the problem. I was charged over $400 for a service call to replace a fuse that blew due to a solenoid valve that failed after barely a year due to IMPROPER INSTALLATION, even though I have a 10 year warranty! I will never pay Loescher for any type of service again, even though it means paying someone else full price to work on my system while it is under warranty. Don't take my word for it, do your homework before hiring this company, and then hire someone else.

Not a good experience with Loescher Heating. I bought a house and the previous owner had a new furnace put in 5 yrs ago from Loescher. My furnace went out 2 months after I bought the house in Dec. 2017 so I called them to look at it. In Dec. weather, tech came out and thought he fixed it had him check it again before he left and did not kick in. Went back to work on it again and blew water out of hose to furnace. I paid the $80 service call. Next morning freezing cold in house, called office to let them know furnace was not fixed, they said they would send another tech out. I asked if I would be charged again for service call and they said no I would not. He came out and still not working.. he said he had to go to hardware store. Couple hours later a brand new 3rd Tech came out.. made a totally different diagnosis than first two techs. said he would have to order parts. Estimate came to over $1200 on a furnace that was only 5 yrs old .. I asked for an estimate on a new furnace system since it was so pricey. They tried to give me one. At that time.. they fired all the office help... that I had been talking to.. couldn't get anywhere with the new office help.. computers were locked up.. New management took over or something. Nobody could help me with the new estimates. So I went to another heating place to get my furnace fixed. In May, 5 months later.. I get a brand new bill around $300 wanting payment from the other 2 techs the old office girls told me I would not be charged for. I have tried several phone calls to talk to someone.. I cant seem to get past the new office secretary Barb. I feel like im caught in the middle of them changing management or help. They never did fix my furnace, and now they turned me over to collections. Its been a horrible experience in dealing with them.
