Everything others have posted about this person is accurate. The person AHS sent to our house to repair/replace 3 faucets is named Matthew Lockhart. After the problems we had with him, we decided to check with North Carolina Board of licensing. We found out that the person AHS sent to our home is not a licensed plumber in the state of North Carolina. He finally shows up around 4:40 P.M for an appointment scheduled for 11:00 a.m. He came with no tools to fix either our bathroom faucets or the kitchen faucet. He rescheduled the appointment for the following Monday, which was 5 days later. He installed two cheap glacier bay faucets in our bathroom, the faucets are so cheap the water pressure is very low. He didn't even put in new stems or stoppers for both sinks. These faucets are not even comparable to the faucets we had in our bathroom. When he got to the kitchen faucet, that he claimed he could not fix. He insisted that he would contact AHS with his diagnosis. He wanted to charge us a non-covered fee of $200.00 for a pipe modification. Which he cannot do as a non licensed plumber, secondly he was being dishonest. All he was going to be doing was changing the old water supply lines for new ones, which does not require any modifications. We told him we would purchase the $7.00 a piece water supply lines for him to install, he said that would affect the warranty, not true. We called AHS, and all they would do is send this man back to our home and let him rip us off for $200.00. We are seniors and are not going to get ripped off by this man. Its a shame that AHS forces its customers to be subjected to people like this. We will take our chances on our own to get our faucet repaired. We do not want this person back in our home. Be ware of the tactics this man uses to get over on AHS customers

Worst experience I've ever had with any tradesman in my life.
I'd give a big fat zero if I could.
Came to my home with one screwdriver and a little pair of pliers.
Never put in an accurate diagnosis diagnosis to American Home Shield.
Said he couldn't get parts for tub faucet, and was going to be an extra $250, not covered.
I called the manufacturer and got the parts myself.
Then he decided to tell me that replacing the cartridge (that I got for him) and the two faucets would cost $600 because it wasn't covered by my warranty. Total lie.
This guy is a real piece of work, totally unprofessional.
Steer clear of him.
Drives around in a Tesla with no tools.
My neighbor had the same issues with him last year, but AHS wouldn't assign another company.
All I can say is, this is one senior citizen he won't be getting over on!! And Karma is a bitch
