Lochard Inc. originated under the leadership of Wilson I. Lochard in 1945 as Lochard Heating and Air Conditioning Co.. Post World War II, Mr. Lochard installed the first complete HVAC system for residences in the city of Sidney.
During 1950, the company moved out of the original farm located at the South 25A area to a new site at 115 East North Street. With growing demand in square footage, GE appliances were included in our inventory.
During 1963, Wilson purchased the previous laundry site situated at 909 Wapakoneta Avenue. The HVAC division was moved to this facility. During 1981, Wilson Lochard purchased the building previously known as Stop N' Go found at the address 903 Wapakoneta. Later that November, our company affiliated with the Do-It-Best Corporation and expanded our offerings to include hardware in our store.
Lochard Plumbing, Heating & Air currently features a metal fabrication facility, a heating and air division, a pipework division along with a store for hardware supplies.

Guy K.Went to their store to set up an appointment for an estimate on a ductless heating and cooling unit. When the gentleman came we discussed what he recommended and what I had in mind. He told me he would give me 2 estimates, his recommendations and 1 for my idea to show me the price difference. It took 3 weeks and a phone call to get a response and he only sent me 1 estimate. The sad thing is, I had cash in hand to pay in full. Very disappointed.

Will you pay a ""few cents"" extra? Maybe, but try to get a question answered at walmart, lowes or menards! Love local stores like this.
