BEWARE gave an outrageous $7000.00 quote to my senior parents after charging 700$ to unclog the drain. They hired someone to dig 6ft nowhere near the problem then tried to up the estimate to $8000 or possibly hire. Not a trust worthy company ... BEWARE

Seemed expensive but I'm sure all plumbers are. He came 20 minutes after calling him and replaced the front shutoff valve within an hours time. Nice guy who gave me other tips on future work. Told me all his work is under his warranty so to simply call back if anything is leaking. Every other plumber I called seemed rude or was too busy so I appreciate his hard work.

I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the response time and service provided by Local Plumbing Services. We live in a small rural community and find that getting any kind of home repair services can be challenging and expensive! When our kitchen hot water pipe began to leak at 8:00 one Saturday morning, I immediately panicked. When I realized that it was behind the wall and inaccessible to me, I had no idea who to call about it but found Local Plumbing Services on the internet. Luckily they were located here in Gonzales and the response was immediate. I was so impressed when, not ten minutes after my call, a gentleman arrived to shut off the water at the main to stop further damage. The owner, who I had expected to come, arrived a few minutes later and I was really impressed that he had considered the time it would take him to arrive-and had sent someone who was closer to my home than he was-to shut the water off first. My first impression was that this young man was really thinking on his feet!
I am VERY impressed with the owner of Local Plumbing Services and his employees. He not only targeted the problem quickly but arranged for insurance contact and addressed the property damage with them immediately. The hot water pipe was fixed that day, the insurance had been contacted and he had referred us to a local damage clean-up manager who immediately took up where he left off and got us on our way to having our kitchen repaired.
I haven't seen service like this from ANY business in years! I wouldn't have known where to begin with this mess if it hadn't have been for him. His fees are very fair and reasonable and the job they did in our home is much more than I expected. They respected our home, our pets and did a beautiful job on our kitchen plumbing. A few weeks later we had an issue in the bathroom-another leak in a pedestal sink. I called him back and just as before-he responded in a few minutes and within an hour the repair was done. I cannot tell you how happy I am to know that we have someone here locally in our small community that we can count on when we have plumbing issues. I think we are pretty lucky to have Local Plumbing Services here in Gonzales, although most of his work is done all over Monterey County. The owner and his employees are extremely competent, fair, and kind. The fact that they didn't let my cats out was an added bonus that I really appreciated, too! Thanks, guys!
