The water flow to my kitchen faucet slowed to a trickle on Saturday morning. After calling the Portland Water Bureau and being told it might be a water line and something that would be my responsibility, I called LOCAL Plumbing on Saturday afternoon. Their after hour charges are hefty but Patrick discussed the problem with me over the phone and suggested there would be no harm if I waited until Monday to schedule a service call after talking to me about the problem. I really appreciated their quick response and candid troubleshooting - all at no charge. A lesser company would have come on out, assessed a large fee, and I would have been none the wiser. I really appreciate their honest and customer service. Also, they did extensive work at my home last year when I was remodeling. Their work is excellent.

These guys (and gals) are awesome!!! My wife and I bought a new construction house in November and are starting to landscape the backyard. We got quotes from a few irrigation companies to do sprinklers. Based on time of year (start of summer) they were all so busy they didn't want to give us the time of day even for a $15+K job. When the few did come out they gave us outrageous quotes knowing we would either be desperate to get it done and just pay it or we would not and they didn't care because they had so much work lined up. They were all also saying they were 2 months out to get the job done. Decided to do it myself! I needed someone to tie in to my water main and install a back flow first though. Called a few plumbing outfits and got the same type of response I got from the irrigation people. When I called LOCAL they were so nice! Matt came out the next day and looked at the house and what I wanted to do. Came up with a WAY better solution to how to get water to the backyard, it was easier, more cost effective and would look better! I really appreciated him taking the time to come up with the best solution not just the most obvious one. He got me a quote quick and it was actually a reasonable quote! No ""its summer and you need sprinklers, lets jack the price up"" kind of quote! They got us on the schedule super fast, the guys showed up right on time and knocked the job out in no time. Super friendly, very reasonable pricing, and they were so on top of it. I would highly recommend LOCAL!!!

Awesome service and quality work!

Their technician, Donnie, showed up on time (even a few minutes early), was professionally dressed and pleasant. He got to work right away, replacing two our our toilets. He was very organized and clean! Did not see any mess during or after work. I would highly recommend LOCAL Plumbing, and would certainly use them again in the future when needed.

I had a warranty replacement of a garbage disposal by a different company. The technician from that company informed me I had several leeks in the plumbing, so I hired Local Plumbing to fix the drain. Will came out and after examining, explained that the disposal was installed incorrectly. I contacted the warranty replacement company and they refused to fix the improper installation. Will was nice enough to conference call that company with me so that we could determine what was wrong. The other company acknowledged that they did NOT follow the installation instructions and still refused to fix the installation. Will went back out and fixed everything at no additional charge to me, even though it wasn't his mistake that caused the leaks. He even did an extra unrelated leak repair (in the faucet) without charging me. Local Plumbing obviously has a focus on customer satisfaction, and they will do whatever it takes ensure that satisfaction.
While we were figuring out whose problem the leaks were, I was starting to loose it a bit (this could have held up the sale of my home) and I wasn't totally polite to Will, but he still stepped up and took care of everything being totally polite, professional and courteous the whole time. He even explained how the appliance install technician may not have know some of the proper steps because he is not a plumber.
I can not thank Will and the team at Local Plumbing enough!

Do not use these guys! My work uses Local plumbing, and they do everything you hear about on the news when it comes to shady business. I personally haven't had to foot any of the bills but they are ruthless and determined to overcharge you no matter the situation is. They routinely charge 2-3 times the quote price and don't attach change orders or note anything down that was different than they expected. They're extremely unpunctual as well and have some of the worst communication skills for any professional company I've ever heard of. I don't know if they have a different residential team, but the commercial side is terrible!

Corey came to our house and rebuilt the inside of an older toilet that was not working properly. He was AWESOME. We talked about another bathroom that could use a re-do also, but he was not pushy about it and I really appreciate that. I will definitely call Local Plumbing Co. next time.
