Had a leak under the sink, and Matt was recommended by some folks in the neighborhood, so I gave him a call. Also had him replace the garbage disposal, since it hasn't been working for over a year; I haven't wanted to have anyone in due to the pandemic but since I had no choice I figured I'd get it all done in one go.

The disposal started leaking about a week later, but Matt came back and diagnosed the problem and fixed it free of charge. No problems since, and that was a couple months ago now. I'm glad he recommended a quieter disposal since the model it replaced is no longer made; the new one is notably quieter and I didn't realize how much I'd prefer that, even if it's not in use terribly often. I'd recommend Matt to anyone.

Matt with Local Plumbing and Sewer was a true lifesaver. We actually live in Houston but have family in Chicago that's used Matt a few times. During the recent winter snowstorms in Houston, our power was knocked out and we were worried about the pipes after two days without power. With all the burst pipes in Houston, we couldn't even get anyone on the phone to talk to. Matt called us back within minutes and took time to walk through what type of pipes we have and how best to treat them as they were thawing. This gave us peace of mind we were doing things correctly and everything we could. We don't even live in Chicago but Matt was willing to help us anyways, would definitely recommend!!

Matt is great. He's shown up quickly and fixed things correctly the first time - or at least gotten things under control until the correct fix can be implemented. I use him for all my plumbing needs - I have several commercial buildings and residential rentals and we use him exclusively. Once you find someone good, you stick with 'em - and that's how it is with Matt. He even just fixed the sewer at my house - again the correct work done promptly and cleanly. Almost don't want to give a review he's so good.

We were not disappointed. We needed a water pressure booster for our building replaced and Matt made a very sensible recommendation and explained in detail the fail points on the previous booster and how to avoid it with the replacement booster.

Everything has worked great since the booster was installed and we couldn't be happier with the work. Matt was also extremely courteous and thorough - also the work was priced very fairly (a point noted by both guys who recommended him to us).

Overall we will use Matt for any plumbing issues in the future with confidence.

We were having 75 people to our home for a party and all 4 toilets were giving us flushing trouble: backing up, not flushing, slow refill, etc. The last thing we wanted to do was replace toilets with just days until the big event and doing nothing wasn't an option. Although he was very busy, Matt still fit us into his schedule because of our urgent situation. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the issues immediately. Easy and cost-saving replacements saved us a lot of money and worry. Some additional cleaning tips of calcium build up in the bowl water sprays helped a great deal in the quick fill of the tanks. The party was a success as the toilets easily handled the heavy bathroom usage and allowed me and my wife (and guests) to avoid the embarrassment of a backed up bowl. Matt was a great find and I highly recommend him for your plumbing needs.
