Andrew Johnson, a lifelong resident of Arlington, Massachusetts, founded Local Plumbing & Heating LLC, initially launched as Prana Plumbing and Heating in 2021, the company rebranded in early 2025.

Sarah T.Andrew was quick in response when I sent an inquiry about his services and availability. We then scheduled and he arrived on time and even letting us know he was on his way. We had one of the bathroom faucets replaced and kitchen sink faucet as well. Andrew even walked us through how to use our newly touch faucet and even showed us how to change the batteries. Bonus: We had one bathroom faucet that was weird where you have to turn almost midway before any water comes out. Andrew fixed it in 5 mins. Definitely in our books to call again for all things plumbing!

Several weeks after the garbage disposal was replaced, there was a small leak under the sink. Andrew promptly returned to evaluate the issue. He fixed the leak at no charge since it was unclear if the leak was related to the garabage disposal being replaced. Great service and has integrity. Highly recommend!

Brian L.Contacted Prana Plumbing & Hearing for a dishwasher install quote and got a very quick response. I was given a brief rundown on how it would work and the quote. He came in and was thorough and efficient. I will absolutely use them again for other jobs and be recommending them.
Linda F.I highly recommend getting a price quote prior to commencing work to avoid any surprises based on your location, traffic, etc. Prana Plumbing charges their $140 hourly rate for travel to the job, travel and time in store purchasing supplies, 30% mark-up on supplies, set-up, clean-up, etc. This would be okay for larger jobs, but for smaller jobs, these fees become relatively exorbitant.
