This business is a scam. Avoid Derek Johnson, who also goes by ""24/7 Plumbing LLC."" Always hire a licensed and insured plumber. Do not hire anyone who requires you to pay prior to the work or pay in cash. Look up 24/7 Plumbing LLC in Gastonia, NC on Better Business Bureau and you will see there is more than one complaint against him.

Please send him back out the door if he comes, the guy Derek Johnson came to my house charged me over 4500.00 to install a hotwater heater 40 gallon low boy, he said hotwater heater was 1600.00 at which it wasn't. He collected 2089.00 to purchase hot water heater and other supplies. He came and installed it but left several leaks, charged us another 2500.00 he then stole another 2089.00, all together he stole over 6500.00. He refused to give us an invoice or receipt on what he did, we had alot of water damage due too his negligence. He refuses to give the money he stole, we had to hire another plumber after he didnt complete job right. We have over 20,000 dollars worth of damage on our crawl space. Please I beg you to not deal 24/7 plumbing crooks crooks, im filing charges against him as we speak for fraud and theft. He gave us no paperwork for hotwater heater, no invoice or receipt to this day, he kept telling us he would email us everything and hasnt to this day, he came December 21, 2022 to do work never came back, because he knew what he had done abd that was rob us blind.
