I spent Mother's Day morning looking for a plumber to repair a leaking exterior faucet. Many were closed and the ones' that were opened were charging 2x - 3x more than Local Local Plumbing. I had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday. The drain pipes under the kitchen sink were corroded, leaking and needed to be replaced. I put out a Yelp quote request and Local Local Plumbing responded and was able to come over the same day. He quoted me $150 to replace the pipes and another $150 to snake the sink drain pipes which was working but slow.

He replaced the drain pipes under the sink then snaked the main drain pipe from an access port outside the house. He then told me my drain was clogged with grease and the drain pipe under the house needed to be replaced at a cost of $1200!

When we turned on the water I could see a huge new leak developed where the drain pipe connected to the wall. He told me that pipe also needed to be replaced because the end was damaged but I could clearly see several inches of good threaded pipe on the cast iron pipe. I told him that was not right and he needed to fix the leak. He again attempted to seal the pipe using silicone sealant which he said required 24 hours to seal.

24 hours later I turned on the water and the pipe no longer leaked but my drain was now completely clogged. I called him again to inform him the drain was now completely clogged and wouldn't drain at all now. He again said the only option was to replace the pipe at $1200 in addition to the $300 I had already given him.

Nothing about this sounded right so I called another plumber who said it was highly unlikely that grease alone could clog the pipe so it couldn't be snaked to clear it. He also said if the pipe was corroded shut or damaged he could replace it for around $300 plus parts. I had the 2nd plumber come over and he was indeed able to snake the drain and clear it.

I called Local Local and told him I had another plumber snake the drain and it was working fine and that he needed to refund the $150 portion of my bill for not properly snaking the drain. The next day he refunded the $150.

I had a water heater issue and Steve was very responsive and showed up at the promised time. He provided his hones assessment and infact also volunteered to to pick up replacement parts from a local store. His quite was reasonable and he completed the work in a timely manner. Local Local Plumbing is five stars. We had a total back up of our plumbing, we had someone come out to snake the main clean out with no success. Steve from Local Local Plumbing responded to my Yelp inquiry within mins and was at my house in less then a hour. He was able to hydrojet our line, after a lot of hard work and having to go over 100 ft in. We finally figured out, with the help of his camera, it is a problem with roots blocking our pipes. He suggested we install a city clean out and gave us a quote to install it.
I will definitely use Local Local Plumbing again!

Were always on time as scheduled. Fast but efficient work that was professionally done. I was totally satisfied. I had replaced a water heater, recirculating pump, undercounter instant hot water Insinkerator, and finally the outside pressure relief valve. Age had caught up with all.

Had a leaky kitchen faucet. I couldn't remove it because the nut had rusted at the base. Tried everything. Finally gave up and called Khuong. He told me how to remove it myself but i decided to have him do all the work since I didn't want to make a mistake and be without water. On time, had all the Covid measures in place. Got the old one off and new one installed in no time. Awesome work. Would recommend to all my neighbors.
