I cannot say enough good things about Lo Reaux & Son, and more specifically about John!

My family and I used these folks twice over the past month (including today), due to a water leak from a bathtub that leaked through the floor below and resulted in my family being unable to use our bathtub for an extended period of time. I initially reached out to another plumbing company (that shall remain nameless) and needless to say things did not work out.

Lo Reaux & Son (John) performed the following:

1. Promptly replied to all communications within 24 hours.
2. Assessed that the problem had not been correctly identified by the prior plumbing company and then correctly identified the problem. (His diagnosis ended up costing 80% less than that of the first plumbing company - and required 90% less time to execute. Based on his advise and hard work I recouped most of my monies paid to the other plumbing company.)
3. Worked with myself to resolve the problem as efficiently and economically as possible, all the while answering all of my questions without hesitation.
4. He personally ordered the necessary parts (no monies up front by myself - just a handshake), and gave an honest estimate of cost and the time it would take to receive the part.
5. Implemented an interim solution until the part arrived.
6. Called me twice to tell me the part had arrived.
7. Accommodated my morning schedule and came to my home the very next day to install the part and fix other items. My bathtub works great, as do the faucet fixtures, and while he was at it gave me some free advise to resolve some other plumbing matters.
8. Consistently recommended keeping existing parts when possible. He never upsold me to purchase anything I did not already need.
9. Charged significantly less than any other plumbing company quoted me to resolve the intial issue (water leak).

I am happy to share with my fellow Yelpers that a local, family-owned business, run by ethical, professional folks, absolutely deserve your business.

Fast and affordable!
I've used them twice now; first was planned, but the second was an emergency. They are responsive and can normally fit you in same day if needed. Saved me some money on my emergency repair by suggesting we not waste time trying to get to an older pipe behind my water heater and simply bypass the problem. Also as I mentioned very affordable and I felt they were worth every penny.

Our ""go to"" plumber comes through again. Two days before Christmas, around 9 pm, I called about pipes leaking in the basement. Lo Reaux came, assessed and contained the situation. Returned the next day (Christmas Eve!) and totally repaired the problem in a short amount of time and with a reasonable price. Simply the best plumber in San Bruno. Call them - you won't be sorry - you'll be an other satisfied customer.

I needed a plumber and remembered that my grandmother used to call LoReaux (before there were sons) Plumbing. I gave them a call and they came out the next day. They made all the necessary repairs and more. The son that came out was very professional and did not recommend any unnecessary work. In fact, he did work that I'm sure no other plumber would have (carpentry and such) and did not charge me extra. He explained everything he was going to do before he did it in layman's terms that I could understand. His work was impeccable and I wouldn't hesitate to call on them again and would recommend them to anyone with a plumbing need. Excellent work ethics which is refreshing in the world today. I understand why my family has used their services for over 50 years and will continue to do so.

The drain pipe in the garage was rusted and water was not draining in the wash basin., the whole thing was a....Huge mess. I called Lo Reaux and Son Plumbing in San Bruno and they were AWESOME. They came out right away in the morning, evaluated the problem, got the new drain tube and pipes and in the afternoon the entire job was completed and in place and working perfectly. Their prices are great and I don't think you can beat their prices and services. I would do business with them again in a heart beat.
