As a mother of four and a lifelong resident of Northern Virginia, I have always been actively involved in home repairs, thanks to the skills I gained from assisting family members with their projects. After buying our home, my husband and I took on the task of updating and repairing it ourselves, giving me additional hands-on experience in home improvement.

Having grown up in Northern Virginia, I had the special opportunity to learn from my father, who ran a thriving drywall business. From an early age, I was right there beside him, assisting whenever school was out, gaining practical experience along the way.

With over 20 years of experience, I have been involved in countless projects, learning both the technical aspects and the importance of doing things right. I have experience in all aspects, from planning and prepping to executing repairs with efficiency. These experiences, along with my own journey as a homeowner, have provided me with the knowledge and confidence to tackle a variety of home improvement tasks.

I’m a hands-on individual who grew up immersed in construction and learning through experience. From four experiences, only one fulfilled my expectations, while the others seemed lacking in knowledge and did just the bare minimum. This experience fueled my motivation.
