I have never owned a house before and can sometimes fall behind on house maintenance. My AC unit had froze so I call around 8 am the next day and they scheduled me in that very day. I do not remember the names of the men that came over but they were very nice. They were so helpful and willings to explain everything that they were doing along with why.

Good service in the beginning - showed up same day to fix a ""froze"" AC unit. Was told it needed a $400 motor (part) and we agreed to fix it. Hour after the part was installed, the unit's air was not cold - guy came back to check it. Heard nothing from them, until next morning the unit was making a loud squeeking sound (which it wasn't making before). I Call them back -was told the tech could not come back, he had to work on a water heater, and told me squeeking sounds mean the compressor is bad (which if it is, I would not have purchased the $400 motor part) they have not returned to check out the squeeking - I was told to turn off AC and call them in a week. I told the guy I couldn't wait a week and would have to call someone else to finish what they started. Would have been nice for them to finish what they started and honor their work. Poor customer service, do not seem to communicate well with customers or internally. The manager (Derek) didn't really know what the technician did, but spoke for him anyway. and if the compressor was bad in the beginning, why did they tell me it was the motor - if it was both, I should have been told beforehand. Not sure if these guys really know what they are doing and seem to take advantage of customer. They make their money whether they fix it, make it worse, or ignore it. Not their problem.

The quality of their installation work is good and the employees do their best to manage. The reason for the low rating is that it took 5 weeks to install new systems in our home in the middle of winter. The guys were pulled away from our home several times and sent elsewhere and status updates were spotty at best during the process. We were very patient and kind (though frustrated) and felt like other customers who were complaining or demanding were getting the attention. In the end, we have new systems installed that should serve us well for years to come.

If you are considering LK, make sure you ask very good questions about availability of labor, priority you will receive and when the job should be done.
