Our A/C unit failed unexpectedly, and my husband contacted the nearest company closest to our home, which happened to be LJL. They were very friendly and personable, but they are a 2-man business. They don't do financing options which is either make it or break it for some people. Our situation, on August 12th we initiated a service call, when they showed up our AC unit was frozen, and they needed to come back another day once the system thawed. August 13th called to see availability, they were not available and to call back the next day. Next day came and they were unavailable. August 15th, called and confirmed they would be at our house at 2pm so I left work early, picked up my daughter and ran home to be there for them, 40 minutes later, they were still not at my house. I had my husband message them to find out their ETA and they told him, ""they got caught up in another job and stopped for lunch and would be stopping by the next day"". Sorry, but I have an infant at home, and it was a very hot day and I have been waiting for 4 days already so them coming the ""next day"" was out of the question and I told them this. Next thing I know, they are at my house (10 minutes later) and putting the coolant into the system to get it running. About a week later the bill arrives and I was shocked. They charged us for a service call, which is fine, BUT they made an appointment to be at my house, at a specific time and they didn't arrive on time! I had to change around my afternoon for them! I don't feel I should have to pay for a service call if they can't keep their appointments on time AND common courtesy would be to text or call your appointment and let them know you aren't coming or will be late!

We ultimately decided not to go with this company originally for the fact that they don't do financing options but after seeing this bill and how they can't respect other peoples time, it made me question whether or not they would do this again, if we chose to go with them to do our repairs. Would they set an appointment date and just not show up? Would they say, ""I'll be there at such a time, and then show up hours later inconveniencing me yet again?"" It's something that you need to really need to think about before you consider going with this company.

needed a quote for some electrical improvements , got a too busy today , maybe tomorrow well maybe ill call you thursday , its friday late afternoon ,, Stiil no call as to even say , hey just so busy ,id understand but to just blow you off !! this company does suck , just as i heard from another ,person !! local guy wanted to just give him a shot ! YA ok screw this company , if thats how they treat you BEFORE the come to do the job ?? , holy hell how are they going to treat a customer after or during a job ??? If i could give them a NO star that be a better pick !
