I originally contacted LJ Construction to get an estimate on replacing my roof. The estimate was thorough and reasonable. All of the workers were very polite and friendly. They cleaned up every night and did a great job. Lucas came and checked their work and made sure that I was happy. I then saw that they did bathroom and kitchen remodels. I had him give me a quote to install a totally new bathroom. I felt the quote was reasonable and I now have beautiful new bathroom! All of the workers were friendly, polite and SKILLED. They cleaned up every night and were very responsive to any requests I had. It was a joy to work with everyone. Again Lucas came out to make sure I was satisfied and was more than willing to address any concerns I may have had. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

I initially contacted this company on May 31st requesting a quote for a replacement frame for my front window. I sent a pic. I received an immediate response from the company (Lucas James) saying the job was too small they would not take it.

On July 14th I sent another email requesting a quote for extensive work that I needed. I included my address and phone number in the email. I never received a response.

On July 16th I called the company and left a VM requesting a call back. I never received a response.

I have yet to receive a response from my email or telephone VM.

Perhaps this company refuses to work with potential customers who reside in the city of Buffalo but if that's the case someone could have been professional enough to respond to my requests saying that.

What a great choice when I went hunting to have our tub removed & shower upgraded! I need a hip replacement & had much trouble entering & getting out of the shower due to the tub height. It was frightening with one leg out, & the other in & knowing one could give out -- don't want to fall in a bathroom!
Well I called LJ & they were true professionals. The job they did is beautiful. They consulted us along the way. Compassionate, considerate & really nice too. Everything is beautiful & exactly what we hoped for. So wonderful to be able to shower & just pretty much walk in. A great decision with a great team! Don't hesitate, give Lucas a call.

Recently I had my roof replaced by LJ Construction. I can say only good things about the quality of the work performed and the entire experience. While awaiting to be scheduled, a wind storm took off a few shingle caps when I was out of town. He had someone out the next day to provide a temporary fix. Heh...when Lucas did the estimating, he even saw some debris in my gutter and hand cleaned. This is an honest company with strong ethics and will provide fair value on workmanship and materials. Give them a call and an opportunity to win your business!

Lucas was very professional and even when we had a small problem, he was quick to make sure it was taken care of and that we were 100% satisfied. I would highly recommend them. I was having a leak by a window soffit, and numerous contractors couldn't figure out what was causing it. When Lucas looked at the leak, roof and gutters he immediately figured it out. I had him and his company replace my roof and they did an amazing job! They were very responsive, professional, honest, thorough and extremely knowledgeable! And he actually came in $13,000 less than a well known and heavily advertised company....I even went with a better shingle, so how can the other company justify their estimate! I would highly recommend LJ Construction!!!

We had a guest bathroom renovation done by this company, and we could not be more pleased with the outcome, as well as the price. I reached out for an estimate, and within minutes received a call back from Lucas, and an appointment at my convenience to take a look at the job. I received a very detailed estimate in writing just a short time later that respected the budget I had in mind, and truthfully, was well under budget. I immediately hired them. When I had to postpone at the last minute due to a family emergency, Lucas did not give me a problem at all. As far as the work is concerned, you won't find more capable, hardworking people to do the job, meticulous to a fault, and as an added bonus, every young man that worked on the bathroom was polite, friendly, and very respectful. It was a pleasure to have them in my home. Oh, and trustworthy...I often left the house for periods of time, and never thought twice about it. I would never dream of doing that with people I've hired in the past for other renovations. I fully expected some dust, as with all renovations, it's inevitable. What I didn't expect was the attention that was given to my belongings, my carpeting, flooring, etc. They ensured that everything was covered completely, and clean up every night was so thorough, you would have thought they were cleaning their own home. Renovations can often be riddled with unexpected costs, sloppy workmanship, unreliable workers...I've seen it all. This company is the complete opposite of all the unfortunate things that can happen when you hire the wrong people. So happy we found LJ Construction; we will definitely hire them for our future projects.
