We called Living Color Painting because we finished a powder room renovation where the previous company that we used did a terrible job. Just our hand brushing up against the finished wall caused the paint to flake and fall right off, not to mention smudges of our green paint ended up all over our white ceiling because the job was just sloppy overall.

From the second we reached out to Alex, he came over that day in person to assess the situation and he immediately knew what went wrong and how to correct everything. He was able to fit us into his schedule just a few days later and sent Jose to come redo all of the painting. We were nervous having to redo all of this work but it was well worth it because Jose's painting was wonderful, pristine, and clean - everything that our first painter was not. We could not be more happy with the results and have a beautiful finished powder room now. Now that we've found a company that is excellent at this craft we will not be using anyone else for future work. Thank you Living Color Painting!

I hired another company to drywall my entire garage, they really messed up but Alex's team was able to get the job done right. I was very impressed with their work, so impressed I hired them after I remodeled my laundry room and plan to use them again when I build a guesthouse. Alex and his team are amazing! The previous people we hired did a terrible job and actually made our walls and ceilings look worst, so we were super picky about who to trust next to fix everything and make our walls and ceilings look great again. I saw that Living Color Painting had great reviews so I decided to give Alex a call. He was able to come by and take a look at what needed to be done. After seeing how professional and knowledgeable Alex was about painting - it was an easy decision to go with him. The entire process was so smooth and everyone was super professional and always on time. Alex and the team made sure that we were satisfied with the way everything looked. We are SO happy with the results and highly recommend them!! 10/10

This is for work done back at the end of May 2022. They did a fantastic job on a short turnaround for a reasonable price! Hire them!

We had bought a place and wanted to change some things before we moved in. LCP was able to tear out old wallpaper, and paint everything we wanted in time for us to move into our new home! Check out the attach pic for more details on the work, but it was a fair amount to do. They cleaned up the place well afterwards and didn't get any paint on the carpets or surfaces. Top notch work.

After getting three painting quotes for our condo, which needed a complete repainting of the interior, I chose Living Color Painting and I'm glad I did.
We did not know until we moved in and the sellers had removed their large furniture, how many holes and scrapes there were on the walls and ceilings. So we knew it would be a big job and not inexpensive. I am pleased to report that Alex was able to give us a quote of about 2 weeks and right within the price range of other painters. I needed the job done quickly so we could settle before I had to travel to take care of a family member again. Alex has a fantastic team in Jose and Erick. They did the majority of prep work (there were days of prep work), matching one existing color and getting the other colors we needed for accents. They are meticulous and did a great job with us living there while they painted and my husband worked from home. When the time table got tight, because there was so much prep work, Alex brought in William and Dylan. They were the extra push we needed and we finished in 3 weeks. In the last week we had some overlap with window blinds installation and some furniture moving (and our AC breaking as well as a plumbing leak) but they worked well, around the other workers, that last week. I am glad I took photos of all of the patch work that was needed because the walls and ceilings are so pretty it looks like a brand new place (and it was built in 1978). Thank you to Alex and the team for working through a heatwave and doing such a terrific job. We highly recommend them.

We worked with Living Color Painting throughout an almost year-long process of restoration on a Craftsman in Pasadena. Our client is an architect, and very exacting, and this company surpassed all expectations.
They are thorough, fast, and meticulous. As a painter for many years, I could see and appreciate the training and experience each painter brought to the team, especially in the details of the prep.

First of all, let me say that we didn't end up with their service so I can't speak for the quality of work.

But I want to leave the business a high score based on the fact the owner Alex really tried to figure out the solution for my project and came by multiple times. After talking to many contractors, you realized lots of them don't really care all that much but just want a quick and easy job.

It was a tricky situation for my project that involves potential engineering issue, he expressed the fact doesn't feel comfortable working on which I totally understand.

It took awhile to get the quote from him but it does look very professional and the price was reasonable. If you are looking to have stucco or painting done, I would totally suggest you to give this place a try! :)

I contacted Living Color Painting for popcorn ceiling removal, plaster repair, and interior painting prior to moving into our new home. Alex responded and was able to give me an estimate within 48 hours after walking around our home and asking detailed questions. I appreciated that he provided an estimate that listed out all the things we discussed and he gave me receipts at each payment point. The team was able to start on time and finish even faster than the given timeframe! We were very impressed by the detailed work that went into the trim and painting of our cabinets, and the care Alex and his brother Manny took in making sure we were happy with the work. The team even came back to fix cracks that resurfaced and Manny returned for paint touchups. It was very easy to communicate with both Alex and Manny and they were flexible with our renovation schedule.

After Alex came over to look at the space, he was ale to give a quote right away and they started work quickly. I had a custom paint color they were able to work with and everything turned out exactly as we had hoped it would.
