I listened to another yelper below and called Alex at Living Color first. We had a pretty complicated job: needed to fix some drywall texture and patching that another drywall guy tried to match to the home's original texture. Alex said no problem. We needed to install base molding in the bathroom that needed painting and they said they could take care of that too. I called a few other painters in the area and they turned down the job because it was either too small (1 bathroom) or too difficult (drywall texture matching using the hopper. Living Colo took care of it all. Will use them again on my next project for drywall and paint.

Best part: Called him on a Monday, came to the house to check out the job, gave an estimate, and the job was done 2 or 3 days later.

If you want to call a bunch of painters, schedule meetings, then ask them for bids - go ahead. But, you can just save a lot of time and call Alex and forget about hit. He'll take care of everything. I was so impressed with how thorough his crew is. They prep everything. By prep, I mean they will move everything out of the way and cover everything with plastic. They are very cool and professional guys. I had my entire place painted and I just finished an inspection. I did not find one drip. Pretty amazing. What impressed me most was how Alex was able to accommodate me after I decided to go with a different white (this was after they pretty much completed the whole job). He called in some more painters, I bought them pizza, they stayed late, and somehow got it all done. Thank you, Alex. I'm very happy . (LPT - don't use Antique White on the walls - it's way too yellow. Just go with Pure White for a clean modern look).

Alex and his crew were awesome. They did an amazing job painting our new home in Lake Balboa. We closed escrow and gave them only 5 days to paint our entire 1900 square foot house before we had to move in, and they did it right on time. Alex really cares about the work he does. In the end, he walked through the entire house with me asking if I saw any places that needed touch and responded right away to the few places I found that needed a little more attention. As new home owners, we've worked with a lot of contractors since we moved in and I wish they were all as wonderful as Living Color. They showed up every day, worked hard and did an excellent job with great attitudes. Hire these guys if you want a headache-free experience.

Alex and his team did quite a lot for us- they fixed a large drywall hole in the ceiling from a bathroom leak and made it look brand new! They also painted the garage and did a chalkboard wall, and repainted our frames after we installed new window. Really clean work, the guys are honest and trustworthy, and prices are reasonable. I will definitely use them again for any painting or related needs!

I've been getting some minor improvements here and there at my place in the past few months. One thing I noticed and makes living color stand out, is that they mean business. They come in give you a quote and can start almost right away. Other companies I've had to deal with is almost as if you are begging them to work. Alex and his team did a great job at painting the interior of my whole house and my kitchen cabinets at a very competitive price. Even with some minor issues arising, he handle it very professionally always making sure I was satisfied with the work provided. That alone is worth recommending. He stands by his work. We highly recommend Living Color!! Alex and his team painted the exterior of our home. It hadn't been painted in quite awhile so there were some cracks and dry rot that needed to be fixed. They repaired everything with great detail and the house looks like new again. Alex gave us a written quote and everything was completed in the time frame he gave us. The painters were there everyday until the job was finished. When they were done they did a fantastic clean up.

Best Buy Magnolia put in a surround sound system for us. They had to make 15 holes in our ceiling to get the wires to the right place. Alex and his crew at Living Color Painting today fixed the dry wall, smoothed and matched the surface and painted.

He charged me the amount he First quoted.

They worked hard, paid attention to detail, and cleaned everything up. You can't tell that any holes were ever there.
