As homeowners in a condominium, one of the biggest fears that we have is having a flood occur from our upstairs neighbors which could leak into our unit or for OUR plumbing to burst which may cause damage below. So, while we originally planned to upgrade our kitchen sink and faucet fixture, we inspected our unit's plumbing and discovered that the supply line to our water heater had rusted (even though it's only 3 years old). We quickly called Little Big Plumbing to address this issue before our fear could materialize. Making an appointment through Megan was quick and easy. My husband described the issues, provided our address and then all we needed to do was wait. Megan scheduled Mike (owner/master plumber) to come to our unit and he arrived right on time! He quickly changed out the supply line with copper pipe, which is a lot more durable than what was originally there. We even discussed our plan to replace our kitchen sink with Mike and replacing our washing machine valves with copper ones as we're concerned about durability and safety. He will be placing an order for the deeper kitchen sink model that we selected and will return to install it. Mike was personable and efficient. He provided an invoice which itemized materials, labor and estimate for upcoming sink removal/installation and washing machine valve replacements. We look forward to his return because now we can rest assured that we won't have a water heater burst. Highly recommend Little Big Plumbing for your home or commercial plumbing needs.

I am really happy overall even though this was a just a snake job in my kitchen sink. When I first called to arrange service I did have to leave a message, but was called back and an appointment was set up for the next day. Timing was perfect. The plumber, Keoni was very pleasant and professional. Although casual in his conversation, I could really tell he knew what he was doing. The clog turned out to be a little more complex, but he recognized the problem and quickly changed equipment to fix the problem. In all, it took less then an hour of my time. Another nice thing, is he barely left anything for me to clean up. Most times, I end up having to do a big scrub down from service issues, but can put back my kitchen now with little effort after the visit. I will keep their number on hand for sure if I do encounter any future plumbing issue and not hesitate at all to ask for their assistance.

Two reviews here. I found this review in my drafts as I was planning to write a review for LBP. Then I'll add my new review after it. =============== Early 2013: One of the toilets in the house I'm renting was leaking around the base, and when I went to replace the wax seal, I found out that the toilet had been installed without a flange! I called LB Plumbing based on their Yelp reviews. The phone receptionist was very courteous and professional, and arranged for a plumber to come to the house. The timeframe that they arranged was very short (4pm to 6pm), which conveniently allowed me time to get home from work (without leaving too early). Chris and AJ showed up right on time, ran to get the parts they needed, and had the repairs done before I knew it. The price was a lot less than I was expecting (which my landlord will appreciate), and the repairs came with a 3 month warrantee. I was very happy that I called this company -- excellent service at a great price. I would give them my strongest recommendation. ================= 26 Oct 2018: I'm in a different house now, this one I own, so I only want to call a plumber I trust. My first thought was to call LB Plumbing, and I'm glad I did. I needed a new toilet installed, and rather than mess with it myself, I called to have it done professionally. I removed the old toilet, and when I called, the receptionist took notes on what I needed (new wax seal, bolts, etc) and I was happy to see that these were reflected on the invoice I later received. Tom called prior to arriving at the house and actually arrived a few minutes early. He completed the installation quickly (less than an hour) and had all of the parts he needed. He caulked around the new toilet and left the work area very clean. Awesome job! Once again, I'm very happy with LBP's work. I'll definitely use them again!

These guys have provided consistent service. We had an issue with an instant on heater and they tweaked it, so it now works much better.

This company was assigned by AHS. They provided excellent customer service and support. Tom the plumber was prompt, called ahead to let me know he was 10 minutes away. He replaced my corroded sink and leaky faucet, cleared away the trash and debris. Great company to deal with. Highly recommend

I contacted a few plumbers but one was condescending over the phone and others didn't have availability. Little Big Plumbing booked us within a few days and Savea came to install our new water heater. We had arranged to have our previous one hauled as well at an additional cost, but unfortunately he didn't have enough space in his van. I can deal with getting the old one hauled later on our own. What mattered most was getting an appointment booked quickly and fair pricing. Both the lady who took the appointment and Savea were very courteous. We will be in touch for future plumbing needs.

We had a bad experience with company They were referred to us thru American Home Shield Warranty to fix a dripping bathroom faucet Tech came out and saw dripping faucet and said not covered by home warranty policy He wanted to charge us $450 to fix Now this company wants to charge us $75 for a service Visit when they did nothing and wanted to rip us off to fix the faucet Terrible customer service and extremely high Prices I will never use this business again

UNETHICAL, GOUGED ME, WORST PLUMBING EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD. first, they charge $75 to come out and give an estimate. This is NOT applicable to work they subsequently do. But I was stuck, I was leaving in 2 days so I agreed to pay $75 for the estimate. (which no other plumbing company anwyhere charges. They apply it to work you hire them to do) I asked them to do several tasks, including instaling new shut off valves for the washer and dryer under the bathroom sink in my condo. I went over the job with the woman who booked the appt, and with the first man who came from Little Big. He said he needed another person to help take the door off so they could service the washer/dryer. The owner arrived, Mike Wessell, arrived, and the two of them worked for about an hour. When he said they were done, I checked the work, and they'd installed the valves in the wrong place! Behind the washer dryer, not under the sink. ""I wish you'd told me that sooner,"" he said. ""I told your assistant and your booker. Think about it, if the valves are behind the machinery and I can't get behind the machinery, what use are the valves? That's why I asked for them to go under the sink. Mike let his worker go and re-did the job himself. Then he gave me a bill for installing two sets of valves. When I protested that he'd made a mistake with the first valve, he said, okay, I'll take that charge off, but then I'm gonna charge you for an extra man on the job, which I didn't do before. When he totaled that up, it was MORE than the original bill. I should have refused to pay, but I had other appointments so I wrote him a check. I wish I had canceled it, or taken it up with our building manager, who'd recommended him. As a consequence, the manager refuses to recommend him or have him work in the building. FIND A DIFFERENT PLUMBER. SAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND AGGRAVATION.

Excellent installation of a new kitchen faucet - had to cut away old faucet as it had rusted nuts, but completed the job efficiently and professionally. Very professional and courteous - cleared away trash and cleaned before leaving - highly recommend Little Big of Kailua !

When other plumbers on the premises for bigger jobs looked at my dripping shower taps, they all indicated that the fixture was too old and they did not have the parts. When I called other plumbers just for this issue, they did not want to make time for a small repair, Little Big Plumbing came. They made the repair with standard parts and took a reasonable anount of time. I'm a fan.
