Billing is shady. Quality of work good.

Be warned! Miguel may try to scam you with pricing. Something I had seen in other reviews. Called for a quote. Miguel came out and quoted me $4k for a bunch of work needed in a new home. But told me that was based a trip charge + estimated time + materials. I said great send me a quote. After not hearing back I texted him how I understood the pricing, time and materials and he said yes, that's correct.

Quality of work was good not great and asked for payment of the $4k. Since I was in a new house, midweek work from home, etc. I paid and said please send over a detailed invoice of work complete.

The detailed receipt never came and as I calculated the charge should have been closer to $2k, maybe $2.5k max. So called the office explained the situation, who then just pushed me back to Miguel. Who said no this was a project job. Not time and materials. I said that wasn't clear, and to be fair send me a detailed invoice.

Long story short. After 4 tries and deflecting by Miguel, no call backs, no one that can resolve the issue, I'm giving up and moving on. Be warned.

I needed my Sewer Line run for maintenance and Lindstrom came out and took care of it and did an outstanding job. I was very happy with the service.

We have used Lindstrom for the past few years for all plumbing repairs and most recently a faucet replacement. Always 5 star service from setting up the appointment to finishing the job. Ask for Miguel. He's very reliable, knowledgeable, kind, and works efficiently.

Issue: Broken shower knob shower have not been use for years.
I have 2 other plumbers looked at the issue both said they have to open up the wall. Ah What??!? This just doesn't make sense!! So everytime we have shower issues we break the wall to fix??? Well since Lindstrom is in the house to unclog the sink they might as well looked at the shower. They look, took a picture, will order parts and says they will be back. What??!? Just like that-- is no big deal. I mentioned 3x the shower have not been used in years. Well, Lindstrom was back a week later it took the guy like 20 minutes to fix. Just. Like. That.

I would recommend Lindstrom plumbing firstly for their friendly helpful office manager Joanna. I called her back three times on a Friday questioning the service being done on Monday, she was exceptionally nice explaining each time to me. Secondly, the plumber Miguel Saavedva came at the beginning time at 8a happy and energetic nicely putting on shoe coverings and also equipment wheel ones to not dirty my white carpet. He hooked up the snake under my kitchen sink quickly. I asked him about his physical training, being a body builder, seeing how fit he was. He suggested replacing my P Trap and explained in detail the reasoning. When a company has great customer service like this, it makes all the difference trumping the rest. They were the best in price, and I got to help a local business. Four days later, on Friday, I called Joanna in the late afternoon to speak with Miguel about an urgent matter. He was on vacation. She called me back telling me she'd have another Miguel come before 6p, being he was on a job. Sure enough, Miguel rang my doorbell way before 6p friendly and smiling questioning my problem, knowing he probably was off work soon. He was my hero in retrieving something my late Mom gave me. Upon running the faucet, he said that it was loose and proceeded to figure out how to tighten it for me. Thank you Joanna, Miguel S., and Miguel for your exceptional service. That weekend I was at s family party where my cousins Tony, Todd, and Jon Ciardella told me they grew up with Todd and Carey going on summer vacations with the Lindstrom Family!

After Covid 19 shots, decided to finally get two showers and a toilet working. Called Lindstrom who had been good in the past. They scheduled their earliest appointment for a week later. At appointment, Miguel gave us an estimate and after a discussion we agreed that I would buy a new shower head for shower but he had the parts in his van to do the jobs. I bought shower head and within two days scheduled an appointment for the work to be done. Out appointment was cancelled a couple of days before because they had a bigger job, for more money, and needed Miguel to work. After 3 weeks of trying to get out bathrooms fixed, Miguel shows up at rescheduled 3rd appointment time, comes in the house and asked us ""what do you need done"" as if he had never been here and never gave us the estimate, etc. Baffled, we explained what needed to be done. He aggressively stated ""Where are the parts?"" We reminded him that he was supposed to have the parts other than the shower head with him in his van. He began to have a childish temper tantrum. He stated, ""No, you were supposed to get the parts."" We knew otherwise. I explained that I had bought the shower head but that he was going to bring the other parts needed, which we would pay for. He got angrier, and more aggressive and belligerent; then stormed out, insisting we were both wrong and he wouldn't do the job. What a childish prima donna he is. Could not believe our eyes and ears. He was disrespectful in our home, raised his voice in extreme anger, scared us and stormed out. Needless to say we still do not have our bathrooms repaired after wasting more than 3 weeks dealing with Lindstrom. Keri from his office took Miguel's side, making excuses for him, how he has been so nice to everyone. Not a way to make unhappy clients feel better. We would never use Lindstrom again. It is unfortunate because they used to be very good and care about their jobs big and small.

I literally started a Yelp account to give a review of Lindstrom. Have had several bad experiences with local, family-biz plumbers that oddly have good reviews. Miguel was the most professional and efficient (sub)contractor, at any level, I've ever met. Am currently thinking of other projects for him. A1 rating
