Just called Lindstrom again with a broken kitchen faucet that was spraying water everywhere. It was 4:45pm and I didn't dream someone could actually come right away. But Miguel, who is always SO pleasant and helpful, was here in 35 minutes and saved the day!! So make the number of plumbing emergencies at our household 3 now, and 5 stars every time for Lindstrom!

This is really a two part review that, unfortunately for the company, averages to 3 stars.

The person answering the phone is quite rude and seems incredibly disinterested in providing even a modicum of good customer service - so 1 star for their public/business interface on the phone. I get the fact that most folks calling are distressed and confused as to what they need - but that is why there is a great need to have a confident voice on their end. Despite my initial contact with the company I scheduled an appointment based on my neighbors experience with the actual service provided.

Miguel, however, is worthy of 5 stars - very knowledgable, professional and did a fantastic job - He was pleasant and provided me the confidence I needed that he would do the job right.

So, if you can get past the horrid initial customer service, you will eventually have a trusted and professional company representative come and fix your plumbing needs

The plumber who came and put a temporary fix in our leaky/not working bathroom was fine.

However, I am giving the two stars because of the experience with the office manager/receptionist. My husband and I have made multiple calls to try and schedule. We have been told repeated that they will call back. Of the 3-4 times we tried, they only called back once. For my husband, they said that the plumber would show up at a certain day/time and it was a no-show.

Seriously, the front office didn't even apologize when I said I never got a call back or when my husband said the plumber didn't show.

Todd and his team did a fantastic job replacing our sewer line through the San Mateo city program three years ago. His prices were very reasonable after I did three comparison quotes.

Called around 4:30 Friday afternoon. The lady that answered the phone said to call back on Monday. She didn't sound very professional. I even had to ask if I had called Lindstrom Plumbing. Bottom line, she didn't take a message. She only said that ""No emergency calls were being taken"". I'm not impressed.

I was so impressed with Miguel. The solution he proposed for street access to our sewer main cost $350--so much better than Master Plumbing of Mountain View who proposed a $3000 solution. Needless to say our landlord didn't go for that one.

Miguel clearly knows his business and also was a delight to work with--kind, courteous, and very professional. Thanks Lindstrom!

I was pleased with the service. I had a water heater pilot light that wouldn't stay on. I called in the morning and left a message with their answering service. I got a call back around 8. They said they would be here same day between 2-4 but might be able to come earlier. At 10:40 Miguel called and said he was outside. Problem was fixed quickly and efficiently.

Lindstrom has done two jobs for me (and my neighbors) in the recent past. The first was a huge drainage issue between numerous houses. I was not in charge of that project, but all of us neighbors were very happy with their completion of the project. They were even working in the rain to complete it before additional storms came. They did complete it, and timely!!!

Recently I thought it appropriate to call them to resolve a drainage issue between my neighbor's house and mine, that also needed the city's approval and cooperation. It was the right call to make!!!!

Initially, I thought they were slow in getting me an estimate. However, I soon realized that they were methodical in their approach, and wanted to get it right. In talking with Todd, I became aware that he had a complete awareness of the project, and was just trying to resolve a few of the more intricate details before proceeding with the project. He had been in touch with the City, and was working out final details before telling us exactly what was needed, and the cost.

My neighbor and I went with them, and I can say that the project was a huge success!!! Yes, it is always more than a homeowner wants to pay, but their cost to do the complete job turned out to be quite reasonable as there were many issues that had to be dealt with that we (as homeowners) did not know at the time. Lindstrom & Co. has had a working relationship with our city that goes back several decades. And that was helpful in getting the project approved and completed.

I will call them with any plumbing issues I have in the future. I also give my highest compliments to Lindstrom Company, and would welcome any requests for additional information pertaining to the jobs that they have done.

I wish it wasn't necessary to relate my recent experience but it should not go unnoticed. We called Lindstrom Plumbing due to their prior history and Miguel came. Request was for a slow toilet flush which he fixed quickly and then I mentioned a hot water faucet in the guest bath taking forever to shut off. He inspected and said it needed a part which he replaced.. A few days later when a guest used the room, he noted the way the hot water faucet turned off incorrectly right to left. I called the office and asked for his return to correct the faucet problem (they are knobs not handles.) He told my husband that this was the new way, nothing was wrong and left. I called the office again; he did return and said I would have to pay for another - correct part!
