Lindstrom, your trusted plumbing and AC partner was founded by Carl Lindstrom in the mid-1970s in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. Our initial service vehicle was an vintage station wagon that was sufficiently sized to hold a few staff, basic tools and basic supplies. In those days, services were confirmed by our clients with a handshake. Trust was more than a term, it was a contract. After more than 30 years, Lindstrom has evolved into one of Florida's most established and most respected service companies with over 130 dedicated employees.

Joe, our skilled technician has 28 years of industry experience. He has a demonstrated success holding executive positions for two nationwide service firms with thousands of employees each. Joe started his journey for the Lindstroms in 2001. Joe holds a certification in ASCS with the National Duct Cleaning Association and is an engaged member of the Indoor Air Quality Association. Joe also volunteers his time on the board of advisors for ATI Career Training Center.

Lindstrom put in our AC unit and we use them for cyclical maintenance visits. Angel has serviced our unit the last few times and he is a thorough, professional technician. He doesn't rush through and short cut the visit. He explains what he finds and provides a current status of the unit's performance and potential issues in the future. The best in my 16 years in Florida!!

I spent 3 weeks researching ACs. Lindstrom had a """"no pressure"""" sales approach and their quote was in the mid-range. After all of my research, Lindstrom was the most accurate and honest, without any attempt to cut corners or hide additional expenses. There was a problem with the dimensions of my AC closet on installation day, and the manager and sales person drove to my house and helped me find a different air handler. Since they are such a large company, they had the desired replacement in stock and were able to continue the installation that day. The installation team cared about every detail from putting down drop cloths to warning me before loud sounds. All of the research paid off and I'm really glad that I went with this company.

We've been Lindstrom A/C customers for over 5 years and are highly satisfied with both installation an: ongoing service. They schedule in 2 hour blocks and generally keep to it, calling 30 minutes in advance. Their technicians seem very well trained, although they continually and politely try to upswell, there really isn't overwhelming pressure. We highly recommend them and feel comfortable with their extended warranty plan that results in no charge repairs if the unit has problems.

I am one of their top customers for over 11 years. Their service is terrible. They say they are coming are always four hours late. This is a new pattern. They used to be on time. Then their service technicians more often than not are not capable of diagnosing the proper issue and have been caught raising my prices. Be it trying to charge for warrantied parts, extra labor or overcharging for filters. I spent over $500 on filters for the year for my ac's. Half are broken and I was told someone will call me to exchange those. Good luck figuring out who can process the exchange for these. I have been without a/c now 8 days. They came and said the part should be in, in a day or 2. They came and installed the part and it still wasn't working the next morning. After stalking them, they came and its still broken. The supervisor supposedly fixed it. Its broken again. They used to have competent service techs. I guess they left for other companies. And I am in the new construction business. I always try to support the small business owner. I cannot recommend them anymore. Anyone have a A/C company they like?

This is a bad company don't ever use this company they repaired a pipe was leaking and it burst agin and they say it not there responsibility anymore this company is a price a shit

EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. DO NOT USE!!! On Halloween, my motor & fan in the outside unit stopped working. I called Lindstrom since I have a service contract with them and the technician came and I paid $89 for diagnosis. The part had to be ordered and was under warranty. As he left, I was informed that someone from Lindstrom scheduling would call me that night with a time for install. I never received a call from them so I called and they said to call back at in the morning. Called at 8am Friday morning and they still had no ETA on the part nor quoted me for the job. They said someone would call me back by 10:00. 10 came and I never received the call so I called them back and again, the response with no quote nor ETA. Finally at 11:30, they called me and said they would be out between 4-6. After 36 hours of no air (inside temp at 85, outside temp at 87) they showed up and quoted me $517 for the labor. I told him that NO ONE from Lindstrom (not the tech from last night nor the 3 reps) informed me that it would be $517 when my part was under warranty. So at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon with no air for 36 hours, I was stuck. Either pay for install or have them leave and be without air all weekend? I called Lindstrom prior and the woman at customer service was VERY apologetic and told me that a manager will be in touch with me Monday morning for some sort of refund since NO ONE quoted me on the job. Guess who never called me..... IF I would have known that they were going to charge me $517 for a 30 min job, I would have NEVER used them since my part was under warranty and anyone would have picked it up! After two days of trying to get a hold of a manager, they feel that $50 is appropriate for compensation. They have no concern that I am a loyal customer for over 10 years and spent thousands with them! The manager Andre told me that their rates are based on what they feel they are worth. HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!!! I don't leave negative reviews unless I've had a really HORRIBLE experience. In this case, I PAID A LOT OF MONEY with the hopes of being a loyal customer Lindstrom would do the right thing. AWFUL!!!! DO NOT USE

In light of the negative reviews, which people tend to write only when disappointed as opposed to those happily satisfied customers who forget, I felt the need to give honest and positive feedback in regards to my experience, even after reading the negative reviews prior to choosing Lindstrom for my AC maintenance/replacement needs. My system was 10+ years old and I used Lindstrom to maintain it over the years, however, I was advised that my system was approaching its life expectancy for a typical Florida builder's unit. My maintenance over the years has been performed without incidence and the technicians were always courteous and professional. During my last scheduled maintenance, the technician told me my unit MIGHT make it through the summer but was still functioning, so as a precautionary measure, I asked for an estimate on a new system which was VERY fair and below other estimates I received. With the intense heat following the next few weeks, my compressor ultimately failed. I spoke with the sales representative, Nick, who gave me the initial estimate and he was just as friendly as the first time. He assisted in securing a Monday install date (considering it was the weekend) as well as applying for financing, which was very simple and fast. Upon signing the permit paper work, he deducted an additional $100 from the total install cost since I had recently had maintenance done, but the compressor subsequently failed. The technicians arrived promptly at 9;00 Monday morning and were equally professional. They laid blankets to protect the flooring and the work was completed as promised. I would DEFINITELY recommend their services to anyone in the future.

I only have GREAT things to say about this company and their employees. From whomever I speak to when I call for service, to the techs that come to my place. From Raquel and Bonnie to the amazing guys, Nelson and Marvin that have both done work at my home. I know for sure that these two guys are honest and hard-working men that I always want to do the work in my home. I think this company is very lucky to have these two guys, I know I sure am. I have had this company do plumbing work, alot I may add and air conditioning work and I have only positive things to say. I feel the pricing is reasonable for the time that these guys put in to get the job done.

We have been customers for over 10 years, purchasing our unit with Lindstrom A/C and using their maintenance contract service as well. Our A/C went out on June 5th. The tech came on 6/6 and installed a capacitor and contactor and the bill was $890.85. It was 86 degrees in the house, so we got it repaired as the parts were on the truck. Upon investigation and a few calls to other HVAC companies, these parts should have been under $100 for both parts. We have made 3 calls to Lindstrom to ask for explanation and a manager to call back. There have been no calls returned or resolution. BEWARE! Lindstrom used to be an excellent company but they are now GOUGING, even their most loyal and long-time customers, with this new pricing structure. We will be looking elsewhere for A/C maintenance and repairs.

I'm baaaaaaack. It hasn't even been a freakin' week! Can we get this thing to leave a negative amount of stars???? I think my rating would be NEGATIVE 10. I am,yet again, without AC. When I got home from work I noticed it was quite warm in my bedroom, but then got distracted and didn't take a look at the unit for an hour. At that point the status light was flashing RED for trouble. The thermostat, which was set at 76, was showing 79 & 60% humidity. I went back to the blower unit & the red light was now off. I checked outside & the outside unit was not running at all. I assume it is frozen up, but have no idea why since the freon was just fully charged on Thursday. I called for service and the very unhelpful, bordering on rude (shock, shock....NOT) customer service rep, Joey, told me very quickly that it would be at least Wednesday before anyone could get by here. At this point, I told him to hold onto his seat because hell was getting reay to fly. I informed him that in the 2 years since we bought this unit that we had had nothing but problems & that someone was out here every 3 months at the very least. I told him that I needed a supervisor to get on this & get someone out here & that Wednesday was not going to cut it. I unloaded on this rude, uncaring individual would could not care less if he actively tried & was possibly going to receive a reward for NOT giving a s#@! and he told me all """"all I can do for you is give you my supervisors voicemail"""". So, the I unloaded on his voicemail. They were JUST HERE THURSDAY, for goodness sake! In July they were here 3 DAYS in ONE WEEK!! WTH???!!!! We are still paying off this $12k piece of crap and Lindstrom does not give a crap. Not one. Tomorrow I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, the Florida AG's office & Trane. I'm fed up with this crap. If anyone knows a good lawyer, let me know.
