We discovered water on the floor around the toilet. Called Lil Rooter and the owner had one of his assistants come out same day to deal with the issue. Turned out we had a crack in the base of the reservoir. After speaking with the owner, assistant went out and purchased (with our approval) and installed the replacement unit. We also asked him to look at why there was dripping from wash basin spigot and shower head. He did and informed us that the fix would require new valve stems. After getting quote, we gave him go-ahead and he replaced the parts and resolved the leak issue...........a couple months later we noticed that the water in the toilet reservoir would turn on frequently for a few seconds. It was annoying and puzzling. We called the owner, Rommel, and set up appointment for next morning. Upon his arrival, he examined the problem and felt it was caused by a defective unit in the recently-replaced reservoir. He replaced the entire whatchamijig (inside the reservoir) and resolved the issue. At least we're not hearing the water spontaneously turning on. We'll hope it remains fixed, but feel confident that owner will honor his parts and service warranty. We hadn't read Yelp before making the initial call. It appears a couple customers are not so happy; but based on our experience, we will not hesitate to call Lil Rooter for future plumbing repair needs.

Expensive... ddnt expect to pay almost $400 for a $35 moen cartridge change in the shower handle :( We just wanted it done rt away n jst happened to hire the 1st person tht showed up. Like other reviews here, he ran out multiple times to his truck, too, for some reason. N it took him over an hour to come back from getting a replacement cartridge :(

Overpriced!

The service we received was good and the person friendly. But it was really overpriced compared to other plumbing services we have used in the past 2-3 years.
Here are more details: we needed to have our kitchen faucet replaced with a new one. We called the plumber and he was able to come in the next morning, which was very timely. When he arrived he couldn't find the water meter for some time to shut off the water so he told us to start calling the water service company until finally locating the meter. Then he worked on replacing the faucet which took him a few hours, apparently the faucet was rusted so he needed to use him tools to cut it off. This all took him 3 hours and he charged us PER HOUR so this came to over $600. I was quite shocked. Other plumbers we have used in the past had charged us a flat fee for the service. This was just a rip off.

This is the third time I've used Rommel and L'il Rooter and I will always call him first. The first time, a crazy sink situation on Thanksgiving day (I was expecting to pay tons because of the holiday, but he charged a very fare rate), then to create a cleanout and then yesterday's challenge - a bizarre sewer pipe situation.

For all calls, Rommel was on time and so helpful. He showed us pictures and a video of the crazy pipe situation so that we could understand why we've had trouble for the past two years. He gave us a few options and then he and his team went to work. I am so grateful for their help and professionalism.

I have complete confidence in this company and I know they stand by their warranty. Give them a call!

We have called on Rommel twice to fix pluming issues and both times he did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Plumbers are frequently delayed due to unexpected challenges, but Rommel always calls with a time update. We love him and plan to call him again for future work.

Contacted Lil Rooter for a blocked sewer main and found the plastic pipe was broken. They were able to complete a sewer main replacement that very same day and at a very competitive price. They stayed until it was done and made sure I was satisfied with the work and cleanup. I cannot say enough of these guys, great service, information and cleanup as well. I will be recommending them to all my neighbors.

Rommel is full of himself, arrogant in talking, and plays cheap. When I identified in the camera that there are still tree roots in the pipe - answer was I need to charge extra for cleaning up. He left all stinky garbage he took out from the pipe in my front yard. Very unprofessional, UN-courteous, unwelcoming personality.
