What a mess we had today here in Palm Harbor, FL, so at noon I called Lightning Plumbing Services based on Yahoo's 5 star reviews from other customers and Kent Hedge the owner came out an hour earlier than promised at 3:45 PM. He fixed a clogged drain, replaced two leaky faucets, roto-snaked my entire home from the roof. Finished all 4 problems in 1 and 1/2 hours. So I was thinking and waiting for the big surprise in the end as is normal plumbers who come into my neighborhood - a big bill - but Kent didn't present me with a big bill either - Prices were """"very favorable"""" compared with other plumbers, I've called to come out to our Highland Lakes community plus he gives a 1 year warranty on his work. The guy is pleasant to be around, he's one former New Yorker I'd call again if I have a problem with plumbing - he knows what he's doing and does it quickly and efficiently. Would I use Lightning Plumbing again? Yes - definitely I would Would I recommend him to friends with plumbing problems - Yes I definitely would.

As a Full Time Licensed REALTOR in Pinellas I often need plumbing services. The difference between keeping a deal together or losing a contract often hinges on receiving quick and competent advice. Kent responded quickly and replaced my rusted leaking water heater. He protected the area around the work site and cleaned up prior to leaving. He explained the replacement process and the current codes. ( it's amazing how much has changed since 2004 when the water heater was last installed. ) He tested the entire system before leaving and as expected it works perfectly.

On 5/12/2018 i called lightning plumbling because my kitchen faucet was leaking. A technician called me to inquire about my leak. He inquired about the type of faucet I had. When I told him I had a pull out faucet, he asked a few more questions about the leak. Within our conversation he made a suggestion that may solve my problem. He suggested that i try to tighten the plull out cord to see if that would stop the leak. Later I discovered that there was a defective part that the manufacturer was responsible for replacing. The purpose for this review is to let others know that Lightning Plumbing Services have an A+ Rating because they could have just come out and charged for a service. They made suggestions without charging me. It appears they will try to help you before they charge you.

This company is excellent. I tend to be leery of plumbers, but I finally found someone who is honest and showed up on time. Kent told me the pricing up front and got to work to replace my corroded shut off valves and spigots outside. I will definitely be using them again.
