Called this company because we had electrical issue on Saturday 02/13/21 and they gave us appointment between noon and five pm. At 5: 45 called since they had not called or texted as they said they would and was told they had no one to send out. Wanted to reschedule us for 9 days out!! Would not use this company!! Keeping appointments is number one priority!!

To send out an electrician and trouble shoot and repair my daughters closet light, the grand total was $270+ and that was with the $50 coupon they sent me in the mail. Took the guy 20 minutes. I will never use Lightfoot for another job EVER.

My water heater was 4 years old from Lowes. Cost $595 installed. He arrived hours late and charged that much to replace two elements and quoted me $1800 for a new water heater. I would not use them again.

These guys are a total rip off!! Charged my 78 year old father $350 to run a snake down the washer drained and still didn't get it unclogged. Said they "couldn't make the turn", took his money and left.
Last year he spent almost $5000 with them to get his ac fixed and it still has issues.
They will take your money no matter what, if they fix it or don't. Shame on you for taking so much and not fixing it!!!

Corban Barker is the technician who's been out several times. He is always friendly, professional, and courteous. On previous visits, the issues were quickly repaired and Corban answered all my questions thoroughly. When signing our maintenance contract with Lightfoot, I read the company's policies regarding the personal presentation of their techs as well as the etiquette of their interactions with clients. Corban is a great representative for Lightfoot clean-cut, polite, and knowledgeable. Their techs are always considerate of your home and wear masks and booties to protect your floors. On the last visit, which was the second hvac checkup included under the Elite Membership Total Home Protection Plan, he would have changed the hvac filters, but I'd forgotten to pick them up. So, today, for no additional fee under the aforementioned plan, he quickly changed them. I always feel comfortable having Lightfoot techs in our home and in the rental properties we own.

About a week ago I posted an unfavorable review about Lightfoot Mechanical and the way their repairman conducted himself and not repairing the problem. Yesterday I received a call from Ronny Miller the Plumbing Supervisor and asked if he could come and look at the problem. He came out this morning and immediately took care of the problem and his professionalism was A+. I will most certainly recommend Lightfoot Mechanical to anyone I know with plumbing issues.

This one of the most unethical companies I have ever come across. They wanted $350 for an AC capacitor. I bought the part online for $15 and with no AC experience installed it in 10 minutes. A good friend of mine was a tech there and quit over their shady practices: he was required to sell $7,200 in equipment WEEKLY and told to use the line, "Do you want a Bandaid solution or a long-term?" Lightfoot is particularly hard on the elderly for whom heat or AC can be life-and-death; doesn't matter ... just a better opportunity to sell them what they don't need. They are not an asset to our community.

Signed up for their platinum service plan or whatever it's called when they came to install a hot water heater. Every time they've been back the plan that covered everything when they sold it to me suddenly covers nothing and if I want to add to the plan for a few hundred more that will cover it. Fool me once, shame on you. You won't fool me twice.

Run, do not walk away from this company.

They only get one star because I couldn't give zero.

Made an appointment for Lightfoot to come check out my water heater that was busted I informed them it may be under warranty but they said that it needed a totally new water heater for a couples of reasons and explained my options within $2,100 -$2,900 I called Joe's plumbing in Saginaw for a second opinion he verified that the water heater is indeed under warranty and total cost for replacing and installing was $700.00

They have overcharged for service for my elderly parents for a while and until now I had no idea. My mother signed a service contract and they charged her $90 over the agreed price, now my mother is alone and in a wheelchair and they said she needed a new furnace and could cause a catastrophic event. Not true, got someone else out there and it was serviced with no problem .
