Lifewater Engineering Co.
Company Overview
Our mission is to pay attention and identify the most appropriate equipment for your project. Using northern engineering, we plan your system, develop it, and provide all the guidance needed to make your project a success.
Since many northern sites and communities are not accessible by roads, we often design treatment systems for aircraft and/or helicopter transport.
As we build everything ourselves, your project moves forward seamlessly.
Not working with an engineering firm yet? We can create a plan review and discharge permit application for agency approval.
With Lifewater, you get the benefit of advanced treatment technologies packaged for your project's needs and delivered on your schedule.
If you already have your treatment equipment selected, we can adapt it to work in a cold or hot climate at any location on earth.
Back in 1998, Lifewater was asked by a couple in Fairbanks to develop a sewage treatment system for their permafrost-based home.
The onsite residential sewage treatment system could not have any buried tanks or a leach field because they would add heat to the ground, causing the permafrost to thaw.
It had to work above ground at -60°F, be simple to install, easy to operate and maintain, be reasonably priced, and be approved by the state of Alaska.
This challenge sparked the creativity of Lifewater's founder, Bob Tsigonis.
A man of faith, Bob says that after prayer, a simple yet effective design emerged, creating a system that met the homeowners' needs and provided them with peace of mind.
