Recommended Customer Reviews

For one they didn't fix my problem ended up having to buy a new pump and that's after they charged my cc 850 dollars. Still trying to get an itemized receipt. Don't use this company. They want a cc upfront the tech was super nice though.

A friend recommended this company to their highly advertised Spring checkup on AC systems. The technician, Brandon, arrived within the timeframe given (actually early) and was very personable and professional. He performed thorough checks on all areas of the system, made a couple of suggestions for my consideration and said that he would be the technician who would return for the fall checkup on the system. I believe the service was a very good value at $49 and would not hesitate to recommend the company. However, I'm not thrilled with the management which wants to push replacing a system because the 'box' is over x years old when every component in it was replaced within the last few years under my whole house warranty. I also thought it was odd that they called me to set the fall appointment within 2 days of the Spring service call. I don't know my fall schedule!!!! I just told them to put whatever date they wanted into their system because it will most likely have to change anyway.

I paid $99 in advance to have them come the next day to diagnose if there were any wiring issues in my house. They didn't show up or call during 4 hr window. That night, without explanation or apology, they called to arrange a new date, which I couldn't do until the following week. The next week, the tech came and was very nice. He found no electrical problems fortunately, but while there, he suggested we could replace a few light switches that were sticking. I added a few switches on, changing some to dimmers. So replacing a total of 12 switches (with ones that he said were not as good of a brand as what I had, but would be fine). Tech said he had to get estimate from HQ and waited in truck. A half hour later, guy from HQ called me and said """"34 99 and we can do it today."""" I'm thinking, """"$34.99 per light switch?"""" That would be total: $420 which is of course a lot more than me buying the switches for $5 each and doing it myself but worth it to not have to do it myself! But ... I clarify... """"What is 34 99?"""" And he says """"$3,495."""" I am not proud that an expletive came out of my mouth. I told him that in all my years including all outlandish estimates for things, this is probably the worst. I told him a handyman previously did the work for $25/switch and said he till made money. He said """"Well our work is guaranteed for 5 years."""" I laughed and said no thanks. He started to ask if I wanted him to reprice the estimate based on this or that and I told him no, I wouldn't be using this company for anything. Unreal! I was gone, Lickity Split.

Their bid was bs. They took a month and a half to fix our water main break. Now I have to come out of pocket $4,000 more. Just a massive F lickity split

Beware. Be very careful when hiring this company and definitely do not hire them for weatherizing. The tech will likely YouTube it from his vehicle. Just wow.

Incompetent! Beware!!! It took four days for a guaranteed same-day service, and three out of four of the items that were in the scope of the project were done incorrectly. CFO, Eddie S., after not returning my phone call and having to be tracked down admitted that at least 50% of the job was botched then refused to refund any of the $5K charges. Finally on day 4 of return visits was able to speak with the female co-owner; Lindsay N. She and her management team are unprofessional, rude and condescending. She and her CFO telling a customer that is rightly upset to """"calm down"""" and """"I'm sorry that you feel that way"""" then having the plumber still not show up on time visit 4 is inexplicable. Facts are facts. Plumbers were late to EVERY (initial and 3 additional) appointment with random excuses that were proven to be outright lies given. Initial plumber botched jobs. All of the plumbers I interacted with were newly hired and/or newly promoted to management. Very telling. Owner made religious references multiple times while shirking accountability for their unprofessionalism and incompetency. Likety Split needs Jesus to take the wheel! Proceed with caution if you consider using their services.

I live in St. Augustine. The and drain in a bathroom in my house was clogged. I called Roto Rooter which I had them at my house before to un clog one bathroom drain. But they couldn't come right away. I went to the next entry on Google which was Lickety Split. They said they can come the next day. They charged me in advance $90, my mistake #1. They came the next day. I expected them to clear the clogged in about 1.5 hours. I am almost a certified plumber. The guy who came looked around and said I have to go to his truck and would be back. He came back and said you have two choices. His recommendation was to go on the roof and go through the stack with a high pressure jet to unclog the drain and then he will put a camera down the drain to see what is stopping the drain. For this work he said they will charge me $2,885. He said he has to schedule the workers that will do the work. All need was to take off the toilet and put a plumbing snake in the drain pipe. It should have not taken more than 1.5 hours to do the job for the slowest plumber and would have not cost more than $250. This company is a con artist which takes people money by con artistry. I did the job myself. It took me 1.5 hours and 1 hour of that was to go get a wax ring and rent a power plumbing snake. Do not do any business with this company. They will rub you blind.

As before exemplary service. They stayed by their quote, got my AC thermostat repaired and we are in comfort again. Ask for Jimmy- he worked ALL day for us!

We had a clogged tub and my husband ran out of do it yourself options. He looked at reviews and made an appointment with Lickety Split. They came promptly and John and his associate got it unclogged in no time. They also showed him how he could do it himself the next time. They were very helpful and professional. We would definitely use them again.

I am a retired license HVACR Technician, which this company was not aware of at first. I live out of state and one of our rental property need AC looked at, so because of the good reviews we went with this company (learning now that they can pay other companys to write their reviews). First they stated the freon was low and quoted me 1600.00 well 400 dollars is cost and pretty available (even cheaper for a company like this), When I started to question all this, then they said that the capacitor was bad and another 200, ( well capacitors are 30 dollars). Why, Why was this so much I kept asking, Well because how dangerous this stuff was and the liability, the most you will get is a headache if in a very close area.(ours is located in garage). Then this man proceeds to tell our young tenants that they were in extreme danger because of the unit.(That high pressure salesmanship in its finest). THIS IS TRULYY UNPROFESSIONAL ,taking advantage of me being out of state and the uneducated (in this area) young ladies. it is truly scary on how many people this company has used this unprofessional high pressure sales tactics.
