For the past 40 years, Jerry has been immersed in Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning. He possesses extensive knowledge in all areas of the trade and takes immense pride in treating every customer like family. He embodies the values of Honor, Integrity, and Ability. Having served in the US Navy, he is married and enjoys time with his children and grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys rooting for the LA Rams, attending his grandchildren's games, and traveling whenever the opportunity arises.

My old company asked this company for a 2nd opinion. They fit me in between 11 to 3. At 1 Liberty called & stated it would be closer to 3. That was nice! Now 4:30pm, no one has shown or called. I have called them & operator said ""he was suppose to call you"" I said well, he didn't. My last attempt dispatcher called her driver and driver called us. Said he's just now leaving so it will be another hour. There are things that I could have scheduled should I have known they are not on schedule or even if I had a simple phone call as promised. When they come out, I will add to this review but for now, It's a 1 star due to lack of communications. Okay, they came to the house. Then another, another and another. My new air is a mystery that they DID NOT install. I had 4 to 5 of them here chasing down the problem for 5 hours until 9pm. None of them said they had to go or they couldn't work late etc. They worked feverishly to find the problem to no avail. The owner even came out and worked. They called the original company, Artic Air & they turned down the proposal from Liberty to fix it. I am now without air and trying to file against Artic's bond to learn no permit etc. Jerry, the owner of Liberty has called to see how things ended up and offered us a heater or air conditioner since we might be in litigation with the other company. I cannot thank Liberty enough for their kindness, efforts and working so late. Use Liberty! They are a great company! I gave 4 stars as I feel if you are going to be late, you need to call the customer. Although this is a favor for another company, I appreciate that but I do have kids to pick up and manage & I didn't know whether to hire a babysitter or what. Thank you again. Mrs. Clark
Ben F.No complaints, really. I have a GE water heater, which meant they didn't have the specific replacement pilot assembly I needed, but Steve confirmed the cause of the pilot light failure for me and didn't charge for the estimate (which was a fair price).
John R.Less than two years ago we had them out to install a new programmable thermostat. They gave use their ""in house"" brand. I don't know who the real manufacturer was. A few days ago it quit working in the middle of one of the worst heat waves we've ever seen. Suffice it to say, it was HOT in our house! Their earliest appointment was two days later (today). They came out and charged us $275 to replace their broken piece of crap with a new piece of crap that I'm sure will break in another two years. Ugh. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. Even though it was ""out of warranty"" a good company would stand behind their product and make it right.
Horrible experience with this company. They recommended that I replace a functioning but old water heater in our rental. I did so to avoid any danger or inconvenience to my tenants. I was over charged for a new water heater and duct work (6k). Less than 3 years later the water heater failed and there were multiple dangerous gas leaks that made my tenants sick. The manufacturer for the water heater they installed went out of business thus voiding any warranty. Liberty was asked to come back out and make things right. They proceeded to recommend systems I don't need and tell me they were going to charge me $3,200 to do so. I know the system was unnecessary because I got second and third opinions. The other two quotes that I got were for between $1,400 and $2,000.
You would think that a company that already got $6,000 out of me for work that they recommended to head off just such a scenario and chose to put in a water heater from a company that was not well known and on its way out, would at least feel bad enough about the situation to not try and gouge me again.
The owner of Liberty also made a big deal about not charging me to come out and assess the situation! Unbelievable. I am still in shock. He eventually did allow that it was the least he could do given the circumstances.
Please do not waste your time with this company. I feel like he took advantage of an urgent situation and did not bank on me getting second and third opinions so quickly.
I've never written a review for anything before but I'm writing one now because these guys are fantastic! My AC stopped working in the middle of summer and Liberty was at my house right away. Jerry found the problem and had it fixed immediately. He was polite, professional, and very knowledgable. I couldn't ask for more from a company. I highly recommend Liberty and thank them for their great service!

They were onsite within 2 hours and quickly fixed the issue. They truly care about their customers and are always willing to go above and beyond! I highly recommend this company for all your HVAC needs!
Contacted this company in frustration that our AC stopped working. Due to the increased heat we are having in the Murrieta/Temecula area, it is considerably uncomfortable for the AC to be down. Deanna from the company's office did her best to coordinate one of their technicians to stop by in between their lunch and another job right down the street. It worked! Two technicians arrived within an hour. Jeremy and Nick were fantastic! Jeremy diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it quickly. They were both courteous and very professional. I can't say enough of how pleased I am with this company and the service they provided me today. I will continue to use this company and recommend them for friends, family, and/or anyone who asks for the services they provide. Thank you Deanna for making this happen. A++ service all around.
Rachelle B.I've had them out twice now, and they've done a great job both times. Their work has been excellent and very professional. They don't cut corners or do sloppy work. They show up on time, and have great prices, too. We love our new water heater. Will definitely use them again.
I called Liberty this morning to see if they were available to come out today. Even with short notice they fit me in! Steve came out to diagnose a leak we had from our master tub. It ended up being an easy fix (the overflow was loose) and he had it fixed within an hour and a half. Normally I would give this review 5 stars however, for the problem we had the price was a bit expensive. We weren't prepared to pay that, but are happy with the fix and the service. Steve was professional and very nice.

He takes the time to explain the issues to make sure we the customer understand what is going on and how it will be fixed. Very, very fair pricing and gets the job done. I always request John. Will never use another company as long as he is at Liberty! We are very happy with John's service.
