This company is excellent. I got them through a home warranty, which actually was horrible.
I left the warranty and continue to use Liberty.
Lisa gets back ASAP to your voicemail every time.
Not sure what the prior reviewers had issues with, but I call them for all my needs.

Assigned by American Home Shield as the other commenters have said, it's very difficult to deal with this company. Voicemail full is common, missed deadlines are common ""someone will call you back today"", some techs are good and some are shoddy. You definitely wouldn't pick these guys if you had a choice, their business is tightly tied to AHS. Requests for service calls typically go beyond the 48 hours required by the warranty company, however, the warranty company won't enforce it instead they just give them a call and parrot another promise that will ultimately be missed. Here is a tip for all the warranty folks reading this. Call AHS instead of doing the online request. Before you get started tell the rep that you absolutely don't want to be assigned liberty. They will assign someone else. Once you get assigned Liberty sorry but you're screwed.

This company is a joke. They were assigned to me through home warranty and they called me to schedule. When I tried to call back I got voicemail every time and then the company cancelled my request saying I no longer need service. DO NOT USE THEM!

It's a shame they have those two prior bad reviews becuase it was not the case for us. I was also assigned to them by the AHS, on two different occasions, and both times they got the job done and pronto! I was actually impress with the turnaround period on both visits. Mike (the technician for the 2nd call) was very pleasant and prompt. He shared lots of knowledge and provided some important tips. I'm so glad it worked out the way it did because it's been like 100 degrees all theses days, in NJ, and I couldn't deal with another hot day in my house. I wish I had read the review first before I allowed Home Warranty to send me to this company. After 4 hours of the guy trying to fix the Air Conditioning, he said was fixed until later found out the unit does not turn off when we shut it off. We have to shut down the power switch to turn off the AC. Called the company multiple times with ""voice mail is full"", was promised with the rude lady over the phone that someone will come to fix it. Still waiting...... What a nightmare? How can this company even still in business? Stay away, ask your warranty company to send someone else if they were assigned to you.

Liberty was assigned to me via my home warranty company, American Home Shield. It was a terrible experience. After the technician came and told us what the problem was, they called and said we had to pay hundreds of dollars for parts not covered by insurance and wait weeks until the parts could be delivered. After ONE MONTH of waiting with no air conditioning, not having my multiple calls returned, we finally gave up and hired our own AC company, who came and in 10 minutes ( and $100) fixed an easy problem. Stay away from Liberty, a dishonest business.
