Company Overview

Our plumbing services encompass a wide range, including new installations and repairs. We excel in drain cleaning. When we snake your sewer main, we offer a camera inspection at NO EXTRA CHARGE! We also perform descaling. Our high-powered water jetting technique cleans and descales your sewer pipes, bringing them back to nearly new condition. We then inspect your main waste pipe with a camera to determine its condition.

We are proud to be a family-owned and operated plumbing company. We provide plumbing solutions for residential and commercial clients. We pioneered the use of jetting for descaling and clearing debris from sewer pipes. Afterward, we conduct a camera inspection to guide homeowners and business owners in their decisions.

I have spent my entire career in plumbing. Coming from a family of plumbers, I carry on the tradition.

I have known Gigi and Nate Lovell for several years. I met Gigi when we were fellow colleagues in a local BNI (Business Networking International) Chapter. As I got to know her and her business, I saw very quickly that they had the latest and greatest plumbing technology to solve everything from simple leaks to complex situations. I learned more in depth what plumbers do and the varying levels of issues homeowners can face and how to head off problems.

My family and I have used their services on several different projects from fixing a leaky toilet to cleaning out mold and mildew that had accumulated in our pipes over time, to guidance on a new hot water heater. They were absolute superstars when my wife and I brought our newborn children home from the hospital and we had to address the mold issue in our home. Nate and his crew were extremely professional and careful in their work as my wife and I were tending to our newborns.

On a different occasion, our hot water vanished. Nate came out and told me exactly what had to be done and I got a crash course in how to shop for a hot water heater and what the installation would entail.

Nate and Gigi Lovell are honest, knowledgeable, and will give it to you straight. I highly recommend L & G Drain Plumbing.

Great service that came with a 1 year guarantee (though I'm sure it won't be needed). I called on Monday evening and was able to schedule an appointment for a time that was convenient for me for the very next day! Nathan is professional, courteous, and so knowledgeable that he gave me updates on exactly what I planned to ask about, but before I even asked. Not only did he fix the problem, he created a long-term solution too -- which is why 5 stars are very much deserved.

I have had a basement drain issue for some time. I have been through countless plumbers and self service snaking. All of them told me I needed to replace the drain or keep snaking. Nathan came out and checked the drain explaining what the problem really was. His crew came out and fixed the issues that no one else seemed to be able to do. He gave me a warranty that was worthwhile and made me feel confident that the work they performed would last more than a year. I can't say enough good things about him and the people that work for him.

I cant say enough good things about them. Nathan came by and fixed some work that another plumber had done and informed us that our pump may need to be replaced as well but gave us the option to let it go for now and we did. Less than a month later guess what? He was right. If he recommends something now I just take his word for it he know what he's doing. They have also done a hot water heater for me as well. great service at a fair rice which is hard to com by in this area.

I called L&G for a guy to come and give me an estimate on a water manifold replacement. The closest date Nathan could schedule me was 10am-12pm 5 days out but I made the appointment anyway. On the day of my appointment, Nathan called me @ 1250pm to tell me he couldn't call me earlier because he was in a govt building working and was unable to use his phone. Then proceeds to tell me he can arrive a hour later. That time frame did not work for me as I had other things planned. So we rescheduled for the next business day at 10am. It is 1100am on the next business day and Nathan tells me that he has been trying to reach me. I was surprised to hear this since I didn't see missed phone calls or a voice mail from Nathan. Nathan goes on to say ""since we had a hard time reaching you and have been talking to someone when we called your phone number. We ARE NOT going to come out for the estimate."" Needless to say, I was not to happy to hear this jargon. After working a 10 hour night shift then waiting three hours for a guy that didn't show up for a serviced I scheduled. Only to hear that ""we tried to reach you"". I think it is really funny you managed to reach me when you were ""on your way"" but couldn't' dial the same number to say only God knows what, after an appointment was already made. L&G totally disregarded me, my time and the service I requested. To sum up this review: L&G IS A WASTE OF TIME. On a good note, I am thankful this business transaction did not occur. I can only image the shenanigans that would have played out if I considered to go any further.

I'm writing to echo the good reviews of other yelpers. Nathan was quick, responsive, knowledgeable, and fixed a leaking pipe in less than an hour. He found the source of the problem (excess pressure in the pipes) and went the extra mile and winterized our rental property for us. He's going to be our first call if and when we need a plumber again.

----Needed their services again in 2017 and they were still awesome!

So I read the reviews and called Nathan. He told me he would be at my place between noon and 2P. At 1:50P he called to say he wouldn't be there before 5P. When I explained that I worked out of my home, he got nasty but said he would come. Then 20 minutes later he called back to say he wouldn't come. I have never had a service man treat me so badly in the 45 years I have owned homes. And I should not have to tell a service man what I do for a living in order for them to come when they say they will.

Terrific company and very reliable! Nathan was great at explaining the problem with a pipe in my home. He explained all of the options and shared the benefits and disadvantages of all options. He even had his wife drop off a part for free that I am having a different company install because he is not able to. He showed up on time and was easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend him and L& G plumbing!

I originally wrote the review above. They have come back to deal with the drain issue and upheld the warranty. However, within hours of them being in my house I had a new issue of a water heater leak. They returned to tell me that I needed to replace a 2 year old water heater. Then I asked him to look a toilet that seemed to refill with water for a long period. Without even looking at it he said I needed a new toilet. Then he said my water pressure was too high for the house. I have since had DC water and two plumbers come to the house and none of the work that L&G recommended is necessary. If i had listened to the L&G plumber, I would have spent thousands of dollars for absolutely no reason. Proceed with caution.

Utterly thrilled to know about this business.
Many thanks to yelpers for their reviews.

So...4th of July, doing laundry, waiting to have everyone over ...and water is ALL OVER the basement, backed up through the basement toilet. Just horrifying. This has happened before, ten years ago? And we had my plumber, and it never drained great.

My husband is a good plumber. We yanked the toilet, snaked the line....nothing.

Called Nathan, Turns out our 62 year old house has clogged arteries. I'm shocked.... Deeply, deeply shocked (sarcasm). I was anticipating an explanation of why I'd have to rip up my yard. Instead, my pipes got flushed (some kind of turbo jet!), and we could SEE THE DIFFERENCE (or, the DH did) with a camera.

I'll have him back in 8 years to do it again. Happily.

1) he answered my call within an hour
2) showed up when *i* asked
3) didn't rip me off.

We should ALL be supporting guys like this.

Bottom line: Good work at a good price.

Details: L&G Drain Cleaning and Plumbing performed interior waterproofing work and sub-slab rough plumbing for my basement renovation. The work took place over a 4 week period cover most of April 2014.

The waterproofing work involved installing an interior french drain (cutting and jack-hammering 100 sqft of slab, digging a trench, removing 8 tons of concrete and earth, and back filling with gravel and pipe), drilling foundation weep holes, installing a dimpled plastic membrane and pouring concrete to repair the slab. L&G also provided and installed a sump pump with battery back-up. The water proofing work was top notch and on it's own would deserve a five star rating.

The sub-slab rough plumbing work involved installing drain pipes for a new basement bathroom (toilet, sink, and shower). The toilet drain is on the opposite wall from the other drains and ended up a few inches off from it's target location, which means the toilet is 3 inches away from the finished wall. It's not a horrible problem and we got a nice shelving unit which masks the problem. However, the misplaced drain is why I am giving L&G four stars and not five.

I found it very easy to work with L&G. The owner clearly cares about doing good work. It was easy to contact the company and they were very responsive to any concerns I had. I strongly recommend them.
