I called Lexington out for a sewer smell back in October. They came out and completed work and the invoice was paid immediately. We continued to have the sewer smell and called a second opinion. The company that provided the second opinion said the work that Lexington provided was not done properly and overpriced. I called Lexington to get their opinion on the issue and offer them the opportunity to warranty. Lexington did not want to even want to inspect. Unprofessional and I don't recommend this company.

Our hose bib froze and so a neighbor reccommended lexington. I was very clear with the tech what I wanted done. He did not do as I asked and furthermore he tracked mud into my 92 year old mothers home, and then, he took her toilet riser off her toilet so he could pee. But he didnt put it back on, so mom calls me some hours later, can I come over she needs to go potty and the plumber left her, a 92 year old lady, unable to use the restroom.
He went ahead and did the job as he saw fit, without ever consilting me about the changes he made to what we had discussed. I would have said HELL NO because I had another plumber that would do the job I wanted for 50 dollars more than the 400 lexington charged me.
When I called to complain I was told that they dont do that type of work. I wanted them to carefullly peel back the siding, cut the sub-siding, make the plumbing repairs, then re-attach the siding. But if they don't do that type of work, then why did the plumber not tell me that when I told him what I wanted? The person on the phone, scott maybe? Was very rude and obviously didnt care what his tech did to my mothers carpet, siding and toilet. Now I have a gaping hole in brand new siding, and lexington has washed their hands of it.
BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE! THERE ARE MANY BETTER ONES TO CHOOSE FROM!

I had water flowing down the yard of my office on Sunday, Feb 21. Lexington had someone out within an hour ready to find the leak. Fortunately, the leak was above ground and they were able to shut the water off. They had someone out first thing today, Monday working on replacing the cracked pipe. They coordinated all this internally without me having to call and explain things 3 times like most plumbers. All the staff was helpful, friendly, and efficient. I will never use another plumber!

When I called Lexington, someone quickly answered the call and scheduling was easy and they had availability as early as the next day. They gave me a 2 hour window when they'd arrive but showed up about 35 minutes after that window expired. The plumber that came out wore a mask, boot covers, and even a sticker stating when he had been health/covid screening. He was up-front with the issues and thankfully had the parts needed to resolve the primary issue. Had him look at a slow draining garbage disposal and he was honest in saying that there wasn't a plumbing issue, just an issue with the disposal cover.
Would certainly recommend.

LEXINGTON PLUMBING came out and repaired our main pipe 4 days after we called them. They got it done within 3 days. They did an amazing job. They were hard working and were at my house 10 hours a day. They told me everything they did and they fixed everything that was off(from previous owners). They did amazing work!!! I highly recommend Lexington Plumbing for all your plumbing needs!!!!!!

Recently relocated to the area. Called the union local and they recommended Lexington to do repairs on a home I just purchased. Lexington reviewed my inspectors report prior to coming out and quoted me a price. They did the work and stood by that quote. Also had a sewer line break at the city main. Lexington dealt with city officials and made the process less stressful. I would say that Lexington is full of people who truly have your best interest in mind and are as professional as can be. I recommend them for all your needs plumbing related. Thanks again to Lexington.

Wow. Totally got ripped on this. Live in a condo on the Plaza. Having water pressure issues in all the units. Tech comes by and takes a hose off of the hot water side, puts it back on, says I need to replace my valves and charges me $400!!!! Seriously. Make sure you know what you're going to pay before these people walk in your door.

Lexington is a top notch organization. Family and locally owned for 3 generations they represent what it means to be a Kansas City Staple.
Good service and fast repairs. They stand and behind their work!

Lexington is an absolutely top notch organization. They have shown their value over and over again and remain a great resource as projects come up. Highly recommended.

If you want an unmanageable ball of brush mixed with old clay sewage pipe left on your property when the jobs ""done"", then use Lexington Plumbing. After getting thousands of dollars of work done on a main line, I called the company to inquire about what they left behind. I was happy when they sent someone out to take a look, but upon arrival they re-drove the bobcat through the yard (which I approved to retrieve said brush ball) only to doze over the ball to a new more comfortable location against some trees. During my reevaluation to my dismay, I also noted a reminisce of the clay pipe still in the creek to remind me of this joyous repair. I called once again and was told that they don't hall away the big roots and trees that they tear up in the process. I just thought company's should clean up the mess they created but apparently that's extra according to ""Brian"". I was taught to leave things if not the same, better than you found them. Apparently I must now make some calls to rent some equipment to pick up huge tree routs that lay to the wayside of Lexington's Plumbing job site in my yard. The new pipe works (bravo), thanks for the new mess on my hands.
