Several years ago we were told we needed to replace our quite old septic system. Asking around we were referred to Lesavage Plumbing & Heating, we signed a contract and they did the work. Then the system started clogging. I called several times and finally Chris came out and said we needed to clean a filter monthly, even though the man who tried to snake out the pipe said the problem was toward the cabin. So this year I cleaned the filter regularly. This fall, when we had house guests, the system totally clogged, and could not be snaked. I called Lesavage Plumbing & Heating at least 8 times on both published numbers, couldn't get through, left voice mails, but they refused to return my calls. I then contacted Schmidt & Sons Plumbing, they diagnosed the problem and, as I was told earlier, where the old and new systems were connected the pipe had dropped down 4 inches. They corrected the problem caused by Lesavage's incompetence.
To summarize: Lesavage incorrectly installed the septic system, refused to stand by their work, made up a ""solution"" that did not work and refused to return phone calls.
