This company has come through for me twice, both emergency or almost emergency situations.
When I moved to the area, in October, 2019, my boiler died. It was cold. LePrevost answered my call, sent a heating technician, and : heat restored.
Just recently, I had an AC problem. The system is installed already, but it does not work. I needed an ac technician for a repair. This is not an easy find. Again, LePrevost took the call, scheduled an appointment and sent a qualified technician on time. Sean found the problem and fixed it. In this sweltering heat, I finally have air conditioning.
LePrevost gets my gratitude and my business.

Horrible customer service, I definitely would not recommend them. We had an emergency issue and are looking for immediate help. They only help previous customers, so I guess new business isn't acceptable. None of this information is on their website. They say 24-hour service but that's just false advertising. John was rude and completely unwilling to help out and gain a new customer for life.

Called their service at 4am on a Sunday morning. Was promised a call at 7am. Got the call at 6:50am. Plumber was here exceptionally quickly. He was incredibly thorough, found the right valve in crawl space to stop the leak. Was informative, polite and totally professional. I've been a customer of Le Prevost since we purchased our home. They are the BEST !!!

A number of LePrevost plumbers have been to my house and with mixed experience. Milt was very, very good. But *******, won't write his name, purposely took advantage and insisted he do additional work, so by the time he left the bill was four times as much as I expected. Even two other plumbers got very quiet when I pointed out what he did, saying I didn't think it was necessary.
But over the past couple of years, their rates have skyrocketed (whopping $118/hr) and they charge full rate for ""travel time."" So if the plumber's previous job is in Great Barrington, you are charged 2 hours at full rate for travel. I think some homeowners who don't check the bill may not realize they're paying this addendum.
Sorry, I don't buy it.

I had an emergency with my heating system so no heat they said they could come fix it next day they came looked at it left never called back never came back so meanwhile no heat with babies in my house terrible company

The staff are very friendly but the owner is horrendously rude and unprofessional. In addition, they sold us the wrong size mini split condenser system and admitted their error several months later when they came back to finish phase 2 of the job and realized they could not do so based on what they did in phase 1.

The owner admitted they ""screwed up"" and that we have to ""pay more now to finish the job."" He agreed to come over and review all the work and then to split the difference. I could live with this. Instead, he showed up and insulted both me and my husband and tossed around several derogatory remarks. My husband refused to let him leave until he apologized. He did and (shockingly) we never heard from him again. We ended up hiring another company to finish the job.

Horrible experience all because the owner has a Napoleon complex. Its a shame because the rest of the staff are very nice.

I inquired about a job had Ken come out to meet. All good from there. However he mentioned to me that I would have the quote by the end of the week for the job. 2 weeks had passed and I heard nothing from him. I called the secretary and asked if Ken had a chance to write up the quote. Secretary said she would pass it along and have Ken give you a call. 1 week later I called again asked where's my quote? Once again the secretary said I'll pass it along to Ken and have him give you a call. Very irritated I went to the office and asked where is my quote, at that point 3 weeks have gone by and I haven't heard back from Ken or the secretary woman. I saw her and she then again said I will have Ken give you a call. I called a few times after that then I just gave up. What sort of business doesn't at least return a call and say we don't have time or are not interested in doing the job?

Only great things to say . Eric and Tim, Jr in the heating division solved ongoing problems that two other HVAC companies could not solve. I I was at my wits end. They were thorough and positive and determined to make things right and their knowledge was remarkable.

I only wish I had found this company earlier.

I also had Scott from the Plumbing division help out with another matter and his work and discussion of all aspects was exceptional as well
