Stay away from these crooks: instead of providing value they damaged my residence; I had to hire another plumber to correct Leon's devastation. Leon shamelessly came back and asked for money, an outrageously large amount I had never agreed to!

i have used leons for 15 or 20 years for plumbing services. they have always done a good job at a fair price. until the last 2 times. i had 2 exact same toilets installed 2 months apart, and the 2nd was $100 more. this week they put in a new sink. the installer couldn't communicate at all. he called someone to help carry the old sink out and didn't say it would cost $45. my husband was home and actually helped him take the sink out. he said he told me the formica might peel, but he did not. so he preceded to tear up my formica, if my husband hadn't been here to piece and glue it back before the sink was installed, i don't know what he would have done about it. he was here 3 1/2 hours and i thought i might get a break on the price due to the formica, but not one cent. i tried to call the company, but they won't return my calls. never again will i call leons for anything.

I took a chance and called this business contrary to a few bad reviews I read online after a friends suggestion, and I'm glad I did.
Excellent, quick and friendly service from start to finish. The guys showed up as I was told they would in a few minutes, didn't try to BS me, did what needed to be done and left my house as clean as it was before any work was done.
I would recommend them, and plan on using them again in the future!

Contacted Leon's due to a clogged bathroom on the second floor of a home. I was told that they would be able to have a plumber out within 10 minutes, great I thought. I hung up and realized I'd neglected to ask for the rates so I called back, the same girl answered (Lindsey) and told me that the rate was $90 and hour, though there could be a $30 equipment charge. I specifically asked if there was a service fee just for coming out, she said no.
I do not know the names of the plumbers that actually came to my home for the sake of argument we will call them Mutt and Jeff. They were a bang up act, seemed to have about as much plumbing knowledge as I do, snake the drain and drano are my big options. So after forty five minutes of failed attempts to snake the drain from both the shower and the toilet, they him-hawed about for twenty minutes and asked if I wanted them to use some ""Clobber"" and let it sit over night. I inquired about the possibility of snaking the drain from the roof of the house, which they more or less ignored.
They left to get the ""Clobber"" and got back thirty or so minutes later, it took another twenty minutes or so to put that in the drain. They did not re-seat the toilet (at our request), so there is no time to be considered there. After this they retired to their vehicle and returned with a bill for roughly $300. I was a little shocked, as by my calculations they had only spent and hour and half doing any actual labor. I was informed that I was responsible for their driving time as well. I objected, and told them I would contact the office in the morning. I didn't wait and called that night, leaving a message for the owner ""Leon"" to give me a call back.
The next day around noon, my wife calls to let me know that when she went in to the bathroom the tile in the shower was cracked and that it had not been prior to the visit from the plumbers. As I had not yet received a call back I reached out to Leon's, Lindsay answered again and told me that ""Rocky"" was not available as he was on a job but, he would reach out to me as soon as possible. An hour or so later ""Rocky"" called. I will openly admit that at this point I was perturbed, when ""Rocky"" was less than cordial in regard to my objection I became more upset. When I mentioned the cracked tile his retort was, ""he didn't think it happened that way."" Keep in mind, this was neither Mutt nor Jeff I was speaking with, Rocky has not ever been in my home. I asked if he was calling me a liar, and he said, ""no, you said that."" He followed up by asking, ""Well, is it new tile or something?"" It was here that I lost my cool and yelled. After threatening to deny the credit card charges, Rocky agreed to reduce the overall cost of the call to $210, but refused to discuss the tile situation. I told him I would visit the office, he said he'd, ""be waiting for me,"" in his best Roy D. Mercer impression.
I went to the office, roughly forty five minute drive, and Lindsay informed me that Rocky had waited as long as he could and would be back shortly. I said I'd wait and took a seat in the lobby. She said she would text him and later reported that he would be there shortly. I waited an hour. During that time another skinny gentleman came in to the office, never identified himself, but made sure to glare at me each time he passed through the lobby. Finally when Rocky arrived I asked what he intended to do about the tile. After a short debate, the skinny gentleman stepped in an stated that they would not be doing anything aout the tile and that the entire matter, including my bill, could be addressed in court. I opted to pay my bill, and asked one last time if they had no intent on even investigating the tile issue. It was made clear that the answer was no, and that I was not welcome at Leon's any further.
Suffice to say Leon's customer service is garbage. Lindsey fails to fully discloses all charges before dispatching technicians. The technicians are woefully inept. The management staff has their strong arm technique down. I will never again do business with Leon's, I would sincerely recommend that you never do so either.

Also, they send an apprentice out and charge you for that, even though they don't tell you they will when you call. So the $90 an hour they quote you is really $135 an hour since the apprentice, who basically hands the plumber tools, is a charge of $45 an hour on top of the plumber. They also charge you a 3.5% fee for using a credit card and again, the person on the phone (Lindsey - who MUST BE A relative!) said, every one does that (maybe in her world, but not in mine). She ended up being extremely rude when I called to pay my bill. After Tim called me liar about my husband calling to schedule (I double-checked with my hubby and I was THE ONLY person who called!), I would NEVER do business with them again! It blows my mind that they still are in business with the total lack of customer service and deceptive per hour charges.

Wouldn't waste your time calling them out.
If I could give a rating on 0 stars, I would.
I went with Leon's because the price was better than others and they could get to me right away. I scheduled a morning appointment and was told that somebody would be out ""first thing"". After waiting for over an hour, I called and was told that they are heading that way....a location no more than 30min in the worst case. It was another 1.5hrs before someone showed up. Then, the tech had to leave to get parts & equipment. He was back about an hour later to do the work...another 2hrs.
The job didn't take and I had to reschedule another appointment...again ""first thing by 9am"". I had to wait over an hour again for them to show up. When they got there, the techs did the work and said that it should take care of the problem. It didn't. I had to call them again and schedule another morning appointment....another ""first thing"". This time after waiting for over 2 hours, I couldn't wait any longer and had to cancel. I tried 1 more time to get them to fix the problem I called them for in the first place. I scheduled an appointment and again was left waiting. I had to leave again and ended up going with another service to finish the job. I took the second company 1 day to find the problem and had it fixed the next time they were out.
So, I paid a 2nd company to actually fix the issue and still had to pay Leon's for a job they never finished.
I definitely wouldn't trust Leon's to do any work on my home after this.

My husband waited half a day for Leon's Plumbing (12p-4p). At 415p when no one showed, my husband called & was told they worked a long job & he sent his crew home for the day. What?! And you weren't going to call?? Leon we expected better from you. We will not use you or recommend you to anyone!!

Cheap over priced HVAC equipment very poorly installed.
Untrustworthy. #$@#$ $$%
You would be better off using your brother-in-law's nephew.
Good plumber.

I will never use Leon's again. They quoted one price and then charged me over twice the amount. Their reason for the extra charge? I was paying because they chose to send over an apprentice to help. This is a job I have done annually, so I know how much time it takes and I know to ask about extra charges, which I did. I had to go through my credit card company to get my money back because the owner refused to return my calls or make things right. I'd give this company zero stars if I could.
