LJI was founded as a division of Leon's Electric & Plumbing in Schulenburg, Texas, launched by entrepreneur Leon John Langhamer. Leon took over A&W, a well-known HVAC contractor in El Campo at that time. While there have been significant changes from 2003 to now, one aspect has stayed constant: Leon John's focus to client satisfaction and excellence, irrespective of the price.

Leon John learned the value of the building industry as a young alongside his father, Leon Henry, who established Leon's Electric & Plumbing in Schulenburg, TX in 1959. Over the years, Leon John acquired state licenses in plumbing, electricity, HVAC, and Refrigeration. His deep passion lies in the HVAC sector.
