Improper service of a water conditioner left a drain line loose, flooding and destroying a closet floor. Clapper charged over $300 to move and replace the unit, even though his negligence caused the damage. Replacing the floor was $170. Clapper denies any responsibility for the damage.
I can't tell you if this plumber is any good because he took over a month to show up - after about 6 phone calls. He spent less than 3 minutes ""diagnosing"" two issues. He said he had to order parts and would call when they came in. It's 2 1/2 months and another 6 phone calls later and I still haven't gotten a callback. About a dozen phone calls in total over approximately a 4 month span and I only received 2 callbacks - both prior to his visit. My house could be flooding and I'd buy a boat before calling him again.
I contacted this company as we were having a water pressure problem at our home and were told by the water company a part needed to cleaned out or replaced. We rent our home, so they were to reach out to our tenants to arrange a time. Over a week later I heard nothing, so I called to follow-up and was told that someone had been out to the house and work completed. However, there was no information on what was done, the cost, etc. I found it surprising that work would be done without any call or authorization, as who knows if I will get a massive bill! But I was told they would get back to me and let me know what was done and the associated cost. Several days later I still had heard nothing! I called back again only to find out that in fact no one had been out to the house, nor had anyone even contacted my tenant to arrange a time. After 2 weeks, nothing was done and not even an appointment made. This company had been referred to me and I was highly disappointed in their lack of professionalism and complete lack of communication. I called someone else and that day the issue was fixed. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
