TL;DR - Find a different plumber!!

Last week I noticed that my downstairs toilet was not flushing properly. I was hosting a party this past weekend and needed a plumber to come out quickly. Len the Plumber was the third plumber I called but they were able to come out same day. They let me know there is a $50 service fee that they charge which is waived if they actually do any billable work. The technician came out, insisted there was nothing wrong with the toilet other than it was old, and that my best bet was to just get a new one (oh conveniently he happened to have a toilet on the truck if I was interested). The cost for replacement was ~$800 and I turned him down because the toilet was working fine just the day before. He told me to call back if it got worse. The toilet continued to not flush properly and was continually getting clogged, so i called Len back and they sent a second technician out, and they said there would be no charge for the 2nd visit. The 2nd technician once again said there was nothing they could do, the toilet is just old and I should just replace it. I turned them down again, and was told they still needed to charge me the service fee and they had no note that it was supposed to be waived.

I bought a toilet auger and low and behold I fished out a wire brush that had been flushed down the toilet by our house cleaners (that's a problem for a different review). Now the toilet flushes perfectly again! I guess the toilet isn't too old after all. I called Len back to let them know the issues with the toilet and that their technicians did not even attempt to do any work to fix the toilet. They were willing to refund only one of the two service charges so I've learned a $50 lesson that I'm giving you for free: Find a different plumber!!

Had gas line moved that leaked. Had kitchen faucet installed leaked. Called customer service told me to call gas company. Manager called will send Supervisor out. Sent a 2 month employee out could not fix other issue they messed up did not have right tools. Question is are individual employees have to be licensed and trained ?.

Charged me $3000 and toilets are still running. Find a different plumbing company. The technicians don't know what they are doing.

There were 2 different techs. here & couldn't fix a leak from the shower stall upstairs and put plumbing goo around the knobs in the shower hoping that would work and it didn't. So the next tech. tried something else that also didn't work. My son came over and fixed the problem which was the shower pan not being tight to the floor which caused the leak!

They didn't want me to give a bad review telling me they would credit me for $200 for hiring them to do work which obviously I didn't.

I needed to replace my hot water heater. Their quote was just under $4000. When I told them that was ridiculous he offered to call his manager. After the call he came down to just under $3000. I sent them away.

My water heater was replaced at a cost of under $1700. Not by Len.

I am amazed that the driver of one of your trucks Number 278 showed road rage this morning on my way to work. Why would someone who works for your company be so inconsiderate and drive in a manner that he decided to speed up and use his horn to try to create road rage. His purpose was to not allow me to merge into an off-ramp for my exit. This person who represents your company showed no consideration without the common courtesy to be understanding of the needs of other drivers.
Our company will no longer use Len the plumber and the company HR should teach your company good driving habits, especially when using company vans with company logos on them. I hope this does not represent the quality and the integrity of what your company represents.

I called them after seeing their TV commercials because my pipes would bang and rattle loudly when using certain appliances. They came out and said I needed a pressure release valve. He replaced it and charged me $866. The next day I turned on my washing machine and the pipes were still banging.
I called them and the same guy came out and put straps on a couple, but if I wanted all the pipes strapped it would be another service call and more money - no way was I going to give them any more money at this point!!!! My husband and I are senior citizens on a fixed income, this had already really hurt us financially.

These guys are crooks and hacks and should be avoided at all costs.

RIPOFF! My 88 year old mother in law had two leaks. Len the plumber came out a day later than scheduled and wanted $1000 to do the the repairs.
She sent him packing! A neighbor came over and fixed both leaks in 1 1/2 hours. The only positive was that she said he was very nice. At least they are nice while they are trying to steal elderly peoples money!

The good: everyone was very friendly. However, this is not helpful if you cannot do your job.
The bad: I had a simple dishwasher install. Most places charge about $200 (give or take) for this. Len doesn't give quotes until the arrive to your house. I should have been weary of this, but I needed someone fast and decided to roll with it. I will cut out the details, but after HOURS of working, their plumber did not install the dishwasher and charged me a ""discounted rate"" of $175 and told me to hire a handyman to finish the job. What?!?! I was VERY clear that I needed a dishwasher installed. If you could not do that, then do not come to my house. I didn't need a non-working dishwasher that is hooked up to water. DO NOT HIRE!

We were taken advantage of when we called them to repair our tankless water heater. We already had the part required for the repair. There was a clamp that had to be properly installed. After many visits to his repair truck, the plumber told us that it would take him two hours to repair. He gave us various estimates for the repair. At the end it took him about 15-20 mins to repair.
He charged us around $900 for less than 30 mins of repair time (we supplied the parts and he spent a considerable amount of time in the truck)
We were taken advantage of since we were desperate and did not have hot water for 2-3 days.

Sad to see that they take advantage of people in such situations.
