Don't use this company. The technician they sent knows nothing about plumbing. The technician came, not sure how to handle, couldn't fix the drain clog issue. But he still charged me more than $400 dollars for the ""service"". I had to hire another plumber next day who fixed the problem in one hour. To save your money, do NOT use this company.

If I could give a negative rating, I would. These guys are complete crooks and I would caution anyone considering hiring them. I recognized their name online when I was looking for a plumber, which I suspect is how they get most of their business. My water heater had stopped work and my normal plumber was on vacation, so I called them. They gave me a 3 hour window to come this past Saturday. 20 minutes past the end of their window, they had still not shown up, so I called. The person I talked to said she could not get in touch with dispatch and would send them an email to call me. An hour later, still nothing, and I called and got the same run around. Yet another hour later, still the same thing. Finally I get a call that says that the plumber who had been assigned did not have the tools or qualifications, so they would reschedule me for the next morning. REALLY????? The next morning they arrive and take a look at the water heater, which is less than a year old by the way, and tell me that to fix it they would have to order an assortment of parts that would take a look time to arrive, so that I would be better of replacing the whole thing. When I ask him how much that would be, he starts telling me all of the things that need to be fixed to ""bring it up to code"" and gives me a price of $3,900!!!! FOR A FRIGGIN' WATER HEATER??? I told the guy to get out of my house and got in touch with a plumber from the neighborhood. He came out the next day and was able to complete the relatively easy fix, for $475. NEVER CALL LEN THE PLUMBER, EVER!!!

Total disaster. LTP installed a garbage disposal that leaked, and months later is still leaking. It was pulling teeth to get them to send a plumber out to look at it - they regularly missed their promised time or didn't show up at all and I had to call again and again. First guy said he fixed it; he hadn't. Second guy left without telling me he was leaving. Still leaking. Water damage to our cabinet. Nightmare.

We called the beginning of the week because of some issues in our basement bathroom and shower. They said they could get someone out there that day. I got a call at 6:30 saying they could have someone out by 8. then they called back saying they wouldn't be out until closer to 9:00-9:30. So I said that's too late can you come Friday. now it's Friday and I received a called saying someone was in route to our house. Then 10 minutes later got a call saying the tech that was en route to you is no longer able to do their job (whatever that means) would you like us to come tomorrow morning. After being cancelled on twice I said no I will be going elsewhere. So DO NOT use this company or you will be waiting around multiple days for hours for no one to come. Worst company to work with ever!!

I have used Len the Plumber several times over the years and although they are usually quick to respond and do competent work, there has always been some nagging problem each time that typically involves the amount they charge for the work performed. When it comes to costs they are always on the high side and sometimes even a simple ten- or fifteen-minute task like changing a water filter will add $200 or more to the total bill. In the end when I've complained we always manage to resolve things, but I've learned to expect something to go awry whenever I use them. This past week saw the final straw. Due to some miscommunication between office personnel and the technicians my wife and I sat at the job site from 10:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and no one called us or showed up (were supposed to meet us between 11 and 2:00). We called their office three times (got disconnected/hung up on once) and got no real assistance - they struggled to even pull up our account. Turns out the techs were calling us at our home phone number even though I had made it clear that we were going to be at the job site and using a cell phone. The office had all the pertinent information but it obviously wasn't passed along to where it mattered. So we wasted a day. It's the last time that will happen.

Len the Plumber is exorbitant- they way overcharge (and many of the Yelp reviews say the same thing.) I was charged $418 just to snake a clogged kitchen drain-- the serviceman was very nice and quite capable, but I will not use them again if they are going to be so ridiculously expensive.

Called and ask for one shower knob to be replaced. The person came on time reviewed the job and stated that he would do the job for 1300. We ask why it's just one part that needs to be replaced. He then said they do not do repairs just replacements. He stated they would replace the whole shower system. That was not what was needed nor required. I was shocked because he said that if they just did repairs then they would be back in 3 months. we payed the service call fee of 49.00 and found another plumber. Cost less then 200 and that was mainly for labor.

Expensive lesson learned. My bathroom sink was clogged. Manual Vasquez showed up and he was working me telling me he needs to do this and that and charged me $743 for using the snake to unclog the pipe and replacing upper assembly of the sink pipe. That's fine because I made the choice to get the job done. What bothers me is the fact he had the $80 coupon on his ipad which he could have applied and was not willing to accept $60 off coupon which I had. I won't be using Len the Plumber in the future.

Called to have them come out and help determine if we have a plumbing issue because we have a bad smell coming from basement. They were supposed to come between 8-11am it's not 3pm and still haven't showed up or even called me. Very frustrating and inconsiderate. Will definitely never be trying to use this company again. Zero stars!
